The tour with Green Day was today, and I was really excited! I packed some clothes and stuff, went to the airport, went though all that boring stuff they do there, and finally got on the plane.
Everyone on the plane was nice. I was the only actual passenger; the other people were just stewardesses and stuff. We listened to Green Day songs all the way to Arizona, where the tour was going to start.
When the stewardesses said we were three-fourths of the way there, I was extremely bored. Airplanes are WAY too boring, don't you think?! I stared out the window and tried to make shapes out of clouds. (A bunny, a guitar, an evil muffin, all that good stuff.) Clouds that soon turned threateningly dark and creepy-looking... I HATE those kinds of clouds. And now here i was, right up inside them in the airplane and feeling threatened.
Great, what if a huge storm makes us crash and I die before seeing my idols?!
"Doesn't it look awful outside?" I said to the stewardess sitting next to me. Her name was Jade, and she was Japanese. But, she knew English really well.
"Yeah... .I hope this flight lands okay!" she worriedly agreed.
Half an Hour Later...
It was extremely windy outside. I stared, awed, at the sights outside the window. Rain was pummeling the windows to death, and lightning flickered ominously. Then, it started hailing and the wind grew stronger.
"We're stuck in a REALLY severe storm!" one of the other stewardesses exclaimed, as she came back from talking to the pilot, "We're in danger!" I groaned and scaredly glanced out the window once more. A giant piece of hail went "CRASH!" on the window, and I jumped; un-gluing my nose from the window.
"We're doomed!" Jade whimpered. Her face was turning whiter than it was already. I started freaking out. The ride was getting bumpier and a lot more terrifying.
This was my first time ever on a plane, and to make matters worse, it was going to be an awful ride I'd never forget.
