Maria (sequl to Haushinka), chapter 1
I arrived at college, and the first thing I spotted was a guy who was sooo handsom! I made it known that I was there, and we dated all throughout college. His name was Jimmy Peterson, and on graduation day, he proposed! I said yes, and after college, we got married and settled down in Massachusets. We had a litte girl named Maria. She had his light blue eyes, and my black hair. This story begins when Maria was 3. Jimmy and I were about to pick Maria up from daycare. We walked through the doors, and walked into the playroom. Maria ran to us, followed by her teacher.
"Mommy! Daddy!" she said really high-pitched, while giving us both a hug.
"Hi honey," I said hugging her back.
"Mr. and Mrs.Peterson, may I see you in my office?" Mrs.Wilson, Maria's teacher said to us. We nodded our heads and followed her inside.
"Now, I want to start out with Maria ia a very sweet girl," she said motioning for us to sit.
"Yes, she is." I said smiling.
"But, we are having a problem," Mrs. Wilson said.
"Yes?" I said a little concerned.
"Maria has been beating up the the younger kids. It's so bad, kids are going home with bruises. People are threatning to sue. We tell them that it's a child here, so the say we should kick that child out. And I believe that's what we must do," Mrs.Wilson said.
"But I'll have to quit my job! You got to let her stay!" I said.
"I'm sorry," the teacher said.
I jumped up and left, followed by Jimmy and Maria. We drove to our apartment, in complete silence, trying to figure out what we were going to do. We walked upstairs to our apartment, to see an eviction notice hanging on our door. "You got to be kidding me!" I said looking at the piece of paper.
"What?" Jimmy asked, seeing my expression. "Crap! What are we going to do?" He asiked me after seeing the notice.
I thought for a minute. "Get your bags. We're going to California," I said.
