You Changed My Life, chapter 2

"Ellie will you go out with me?" I asked quickly. She shut her locker door, astounded, and looked at me.
"Yes. Yes I will go out with you." I could tell she was happy I asked her out. We walked to your next class together and the whole class she had this cute little grin on her face. We sat next to each other and talked as much as possible during class.
We were going out of school,
"Hey! Do you want to come to my house, like, for a date?" I asked. She thought it over.
"Yeah, I just have to call my Moms job to tell her." She felt in her pockets.
"Do you have a cell phone?"
"Yeah, here," I handed her my cell. She dialed a number.
"Oh hi Brian, is my Mom available?... Oh, well then tell her I'll be over at Jakob's house, he asked me out today... Yep I was pretty happy.. .Alright. I'll be home like, later or something... Yep bye!" She hung up and handed me my cell.
"Alright, now all I have to do now is call my Dad, Mom, or Brother to come pick us up, do you mind waiting?"
"Nope not at all," I dialled my Dad's number.
"Dad? ... Yeah, oh and I'm bringing my girlfriend, Ellie... Yeah we'll be waiting outside... See you then, bye." I hung up. She had this amazed look on her face.
"You called me your girlfriend." She said, with wide eyes she looked at me.
"Yeah, because I know you like a girlfriend, so I find it only suitable to call you my girlfriend." I said.
"Oh how sweet are you." She said as she hugged me. She kissed my cheek lightly.
"Uhm, can I ask you something?" I asked, thinking about the winder thing in our first class.
"Yeah, shoot."

--Ellie's Point Of View—

"Well when we were talking about the winter thing, you seemed to be avoiding something." He started as we sat down on the curb.
"Yeah, why?"
"Well, what exactly were you avoiding?" Jakob asked nicely.
"Well, my mother is never really home because she's working in her restaurant. And Christmas was pretty busy for her, so I spent my Christmas alone." I explained. He looked very sad for some reason.
"Don't be sad, Jakob, I managed." I assured. Then a car pulled up in front of us.
"That'd be my dad." Jakob said, I stood up with him. He opened the back seat door for me, I got in and he sat next to me. He shut the door and Billie looked back at us.
"Jake would you mind introducing me to this fine young lady you so fondly set as your hearts desire?" Billie asked, I smiled slightly and looked down in embarrassment.
"Dad, this is Ellie, Ellie this is my dad." Billie turned around to shake my hand. I shook the offered hand and he started driving.

"So, Ellie, tell me about yourself." Billie said turning a corner.
"Well, my moms a famous chef, maybe you've heard of her, Cassidy Beck?"
"Oh yes! Great chef, so what does Mr. Beck do?" He asked.
"Mr. Beck is my grandfather, my dad is Steve Foster, and his last name is my last name. My dad really doesn't have a job." I explained.
"Oh sorry," He was looking pretty sorry to bring up the father subject.
"No its ok, we manage." We pulled up into his drive way. Me and Jake got out and went up to the front door where Tre opened the door before Jake could even touch the doorknob.
"Who is this attractive young lady!?" He squealed.
"My girlfriend, what's it to ya?" We walked in past him, and I met Joey on the way in.
"Does she have a mother?" Tre asked. My eyes went wide and I turned around to face Tre.
"I'm sure she'll love to see you." I said. We walked back to the living room and got out our homework, well he got out his homework and I got out my writing. Then Jakobs phone rang. He answered it,
"Hello? . . . . This is Jakob. . . . . . Oh hi! Do you want to talk to Ellie? . . . . Alright." He handed me his phone.
"Hello?"
"Ellie, uhm, I'm off work right now and I wanted to meet your boyfriends parents. Is that ok with his parents?"
"Um let me ask." I cupped my hand over the voice thing.
"Go ask your parents if my mom can come over for dinner please." He went to talk to his parents, and I went back to talking to my mom.
"Jake's going to ask his parents right now." I said
"Jake?"
"My boyfriend, and his real name is Jakob, you know, the one that answered the phone." Jake came back when I finished the sentence.
"She can come over, they're making dinner right now." He said.
"Mom, you can come over, come over right now if you can." I told her.
"Well I'm probably going to change and then come over, kay?"
"Yep that's fine."
"I love you," She said.
"Love you too,"
"Bye."
"Bye." I hung up.

Jake sat down next to me and I handed him his cell phone. He put it on the coffee table in front of us. I ended up helping him with his homework until he put his arm around my waist. He slightly tickled my side and I tried so hard not to giggle.
"Don't." He then started counting my ribs by pushing his finger into my rib bones and moving it slightly, and that tickled.
"Don't." I ordered again, grabbing his hand, and moving it off my side. My mom walked in as I did this and I got up to greet her. Billie and Adrienne came to greet her as well.
"I'm Billie Joe, Jakobs dad." Billie said shaking her hand.
"I'm Jakobs mom, Adrienne." My mom shook her hand too. Then Tre walked in.
"And I'm Tre, Billie's band mate and friend." He said, shaking my mom's hand. I could tell she liked Tre.
