Running away...the best thing I ever did., chapter 3

-Recap-

Tré laughed and hugged me kissing my head.

I looked up at him and he kissed me again, this time on the lips.

She looked great in my shirt...

*Lucy's P.O.V*

Reluctantly I pulled away from Tré. I laughed as he pouted. I sat down at the table and pulled a bowl of fruit loops towards me.

"Thank you!" laughed Tré taking the bowl out of my hands, kissing me on the cheek.

I rolled my eyes and got another bowl of fruit loops.

I picked up a spoon ready to eat but then decided not too, I pushed the bowl away.

"What's up?" asked Tré.

"I don't want any thing to eat," I said shrugging.

"That's weird," said Tré, "I need sugar in the morning so I can be hyper for the rest of the day."

"Yeah, I've noticed that."

I watched as Tré wolfed down his cereal.

"Mmmmm sugar..."

"When do you reckon Mike will wake up?" I asked.

Tré shrugged. "Could be anytime."

I nodded but quickly stopped as I felt a wave of nausea wash over me.

"Lucy, are you okay? You've gone really pale," said Tré frowning, walking over to me.

"I feel really bad all of a sudden," I groaned holding out my arms so I could give Tré a hug.

"Poor Lucy," said Tré walking into my outstretched arms.

"I think I'm gonna puke!" I moaned letting go of Tré and running through the door and knocking into Billie Joe as I ran into the bathroom.

Tré ran in behind me and held my hair as I threw up.

I groaned queasily and sat up.

"All done?" Tré asked me rubbing my back.

"Uh huh," I mumbled.

"Maybe you should go back to bed for a bit, you look really ill," Tré said concernedly.

I nodded and got shakily to my feet, holding onto Tré for support but still really unsteady.

"FEAR NOT FAIR MAIDEN FOR I SHALL CARRY YOU!" shouted Tré picking me up. He carried me up to his room and laid me down on the bed and covered me with the blanket.

He kissed my forehead, and then frowned.

"Lucy you're burning up," he said, putting his hand on my forehead.

"Mmmmm, great, I feel sick, I'm burning up and now I have an agonizing pain in my stomach."

Tré frowned.

"Maybe I should call a doctor," he mumbled walking out the room.

I lay in bed moaning softly, the pain was getting worse and I was shivering.

A few minutes later Tré walked back in looking worried.

"I spoke to the doctor, he said you might have something called 'Appendicitis'," he told me, "You might need to have your appendix taken out, I've rang for an ambulance, they're on their way."

I nodded.

"It hurts so bad," I moaned.

"Don't worry, the ambulance will be here any minute, you'll be fine," Tré reassured me.

*Tré's P.O.V*

Lucy looked really bad. She had gone bright red and she was shivering, I could tell that she was in a lot of pain.

A few minutes later Billie poked his head round the door.

"Tré, there's an ambulance parked outside and paramedics at the door; you want to tell us what's going on?"

"No time," I muttered.

I picked up Lucy, she groaned softly.

"Tré, what's wrong with her?" Billie asked.

I didn't answer, I carried her downstairs. The paramedics were standing in the hall with a stretcher.

I noticed that Lucy still only had my shirt on, but there was no time for her to change.

The paramedics quickly loaded her onto a stretcher and hooked her up to an oxygen tank. They started to take her into the ambulance.

She looked terrified.

"I'm coming with her," I told the paramedics.

"Only one person may accompany her," he said.

"Do I look like two people?"

"No, sir."

I climbed into the back of the ambulance and sat by Lucy and took her hand.

*Lucy's P.O.V*

Tré came in the ambulance with me, I was really scared. I hated everything to do with hospitals. Tré was talking to me all the way there; holding my hand all the time, telling me everything would be alright.

The last thing I remember was Tré's hand resting on my face.

That's when I blacked out...
