Tacoma, WA Tacoma Dome, September 25th, 2005

From what I've read, this concert was like any others. But for me it was different.
Jimmy Eat World came on stage and they were great.

Then it started getting stuffy. I couldn't breath. I was in the very front.
The Bunny came out and that was funny watching him dancing and touching himself, even one of the sucurity people was watching and laughing.

Then when Green Day came out it was Hecktic. People was pushing and shoving it was crazy, it was like a fucking mosh pit. They opened with American Idiot. It took me a long time to realize that Billie Joe, Mike, and Tre were all RIGHT THERE.

The guys I've had a crush on since I was about 4 or 5 were right there. He touched my hand, even held on to it a couple times. He told a story about how the name 'Longview' came about, how he got it from the city Longview in Washignton State, he met a guy there blah blah blah. I couldn't really pay attention, I was too happy.

They sang more songs and then he called a boy about 11 years old on stage, handed him a water gun a shot the audiance with it. It was so fucking hot and crowded, you couldn't tell if you were being sprayed with water or if that was the persons sweat infront of you.

During Hitchin' A Ride he started touching himself, it was distubing, the girl next me started touching herself too and took off her bra and threw it at him. It was wierd. This guy aslo had pantyhose witch he stuck to tennisballs in so it looked like balls and started swinging it around.

When he called people up on stage I was excited. My friend told everyone around me (unless they wanted to go up and could play an instrument) to point to me when he asked. So when he asked who played to guitar about 20 people pointed to me. He saw, He stared at me for 7 seconds, winked, then walked away and choose a guy. I kinda knew he was going to pick a guy becuase of his ritual kissing a guy thing but it felt good to know he noticed me. Lucky for that guy. It was his birthday and he asked if he could keep the guitar for his birthday and he said yea, but even if it wasn't his birthday he would have given it to him.

At the end he played Wake Me Up When September Ends, I tuned around for a second to look at all the people with there lighters and cell phones and it made me stop and wonder how much this song acctually means to him.

I know it's about his father and how every time he sings that song he feels the pain but to see other people feeling his pain must make it even harder. (Ok, enough with the sentimental stuff). Then he played Good Riddance and it was the last song. I didn't want that song to end, but like all songs it ended.

When it was all over the people cleared out really fast by that time I was DREANCHED in sweat mine, and other peoples. My ribs were bruised from being pushed up against the raling in front. But I thought of it has a souvenier of pain from the concert, every time it hurt I thought of the concert, it was a little reminder of the fun I had.

At the end the guy who cought his hankerchief he trough out came up to me and asked me if i would buy it from him for $30. I didn't have my money with me, I spent it on T-shirts but I grabbed it from him and put my face in it, took a big wiff and gave it back. I wanted to enjoy it while I could. I also got one of his personalized picks that are black and on one side it says GREEN DAY and on the other side it has a hart grenade written in red. That's my biggest keep sake from the concert.

Even though it has been almost exactly 2 months since the concert, I can still remember it like it was just yesterday.

P.S. I forgot to include that he also pulled down his pants twice during King For A Day. And he SLOBBERED on me one time on accident and laughed when he did.
