Ok so the first time i heard of green day was around when american idiot came out. my good friend nicole was like,"dude are you a green day fan?" and i was like, "what?" because i was still pretty young (2nd grade to be exact...) so that night i looked them up and fell in love... for good. since then they're like the only band i listen to practically. my mom says i'm obsessed. i am... ok so my obsession with green day really exploded in 4th grade, when i started to learn to play guitar. i'm a real natural at all things musical, so i picked up guitar relatively fast. the first green day song i learned i think was when i come around. after that i was learning songs left and right. currently i can play about 80 green day songs, but that's an estimate and the number grows almost every week or so. just recently (2 days before writing this) i got a bass. i figured it would be pretty easy because i'm real good at guitar, and i was right. i was like, "fuck lessons. i can figure this out" so i put on jesus of suburbia and started playing along. i don't know if it was luck, but i played it perfect first try. so that's my adventure with green day. (and no, i never killed my parents)
