There was one this little girl with skin as white as snow and hair as dark as a moonless night, she dreamed her way through the harsh heat of her home, hoping desperately for a friend to play with.
She made friends with the resident wildlife, naming them Billy and Mikey. She would jump and play all day long, listening to the crunch of the dry grass or the gentle bubble of the sulphur swirling pretty colours onto the rocks.
She had a smile as sweet and innocent as the first day she fell off her bike. She was the child every mother in the room looked upon, and away from their own child, as she built a castle from dry sand. Her lips were formed in a continual pout, and her smile was as bright as the days she played for hours on end in. The corners of her eyes crinkled and her soft face lit up like the brightest candle in the room.
She got lost one day, a day when ten years had passed since she was the bubbly, bright four year old. Now she keeps her broken dreams locked away in a pink book carefully hidden in between her floral pink spring fair dress and her winter cashmere jumper. Those are her real dreams.

This is me, I write cos I like it - I like dreaming. I run, cos I like the wind in my face and my training short and sports bra push against my body. I like singing because I can sing and I make up my own words as I go along. I llisten to music because it de-stresses me.
