About
I have OOGDD. I bet you can figure out what that stands for.
I'm from New York, but my family moved to a really crappy place in North Carolina a few years ago. I hate it here! I can't wait until I can finally move to Berkeley.
I love punk rock, hard rock, metal(only the good kind like Black Sabbath, Van Halen, etc..) My favorite band is obviously Green Day. I also like blues and some jazz, mostly Big Bad Voodoo Daddy in the jazz department...
If anyone says anything bad about Green Day, I like to punch them in the face.
I'm pretty much the only person that populates the punk scene in the sad excuse for a town I currently live in, besides a few annoying and insulting posers.
I just started playing the guitar in September 2009. The first song I learned was Brain Stew. My guitar is a red Fender Squier Strat. That's why I call it Squier Ed. Once I can afford it, I'm going to add a humbucker pickup to it to give it that certain punch I'm looking for.

If it's only been sitting there for years, hopefully it'll be alright then. + I love The Beatles! They're great (:

Niceee! I've honestly never heard one before, but I'm sure they are great. I love anything retro really. I don't think our one was that great anyway, your one sounds a million times better.

aha, I've always been allowed to swear in Green Day songs. I stop myself a lot of the time though. idk why. & sh*t yeah. that is an exciting purchase. I think we may have thrown our record player out, pretty sure it broke.

Yeah, when I first swore in front of my parents it was an accident, but they understood that. Then it became more intended, and as first they didn't react so well but I think mum's used to it now. But I try not to swear a lot, not very pleasant :/

So do mine actually. I swear a fair bit around my mum though, and only tiny words like 'sh*t' around my dad. but if I said something completely vulgar around my dad, I would be in trouble. but yeah. I don't mind swearing so long as it's not directed at someone really.

I don't mind the language, it's all good.

Fair enough. Moving with a friend would be fun, but what your parents let you and stuff? It's a fairly big thing. & oh, I seee. My friends that live out of town are probably further out than just a 10 minute drive but anyways. And yeah, we have suburbs and stuff as well, a lot of them really. Then you have extra little places more out of town on farms and such. But we have buses, although not many people use them. I find it odd that you don't have them :/
Skippy., January 13th, 2010 at 12:58:00am
You hope to move there next year at the earliest? With your family? And why there? and it sounds like you're totally isolated right now, do you live on a farm? wait, do you guys even have farms over there? But anyway, I know what you mean. I have a fair few friends who live out of town in the real country all by themself. and it sucks, because whenever you want them to come into town with you, they can never find a way in unless they catch a bus really really early D;

Oh, I seee. I live in a town as well, about five hours away from a huge city/beach. but it's like a huge town and small city kind of place. I've lived here my whole life. I'm all used to it and I really like it (:
Skippy., January 10th, 2010 at 02:53:56am
lawl I got that from a comcast commercial lmfao
midorifreak., January 9th, 2010 at 11:10:48pm
They still complain about it? I hate it when that happens, especially when you're giving it the best you've got. You get a slightly better report than me, good work, aha. I get more Bs than As. every now and then I might get a C :/
A large punk scene? not at all. wait, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by 'punk scene' we have gigs here and a fair few people go, yes, but it's not usually punk music. I don't know many people here who listen to punk, but other types of rock, yes. how about where you live? I'm guessing there is considering it's a massive city. There'd have to be a scene for everything, right?

hello sir and/or madam
xD
midorifreak., January 9th, 2010 at 12:08:37am
Oh, wow, haha. I think when everyone hits high school they get to a point where they don't care anymore. All the homework is really overwhelming tbh, but most people make it out alright xDD

For sure, Green Day will pull you through (:
I really need to go better at school this year, and pay more attention. I have my School Certificate coming up so yes. I wanna do well in it.
