Right. Year 10 cliques. or Groups.
I believe I might as well, conform with some other blogs. But oh well. We call them Groups rather than 'Cliques', Because well, Australia can't be arsed with fancy words. Since year 1, we've been put into groups, and still, in year 10, We are. Sad yes, but School has to work someway.
Populars
Yep, basically, the most hated group in the school, they hang out near the canteen every lunch, and the area is always packed out. They don't allow n00bs into the group, unless they act like them, or have the exact same subjects as the rest of them. There are a few that I am friends with, Most of the girls and guys in this group date each other.
11's and 12's
Yep, Year 10 comes with a downside, being the grade below these 2 higher years. The majority of the year 10's hate the older grades, purely the fact, they act stuck up, and like they're better than everyone. I, myself am friends with about, 2 or 3 of the older grades. The only time these 3 years get along is if a year 10 dates a year 11 or 12. But that hasn't happened in a while.
Nerds
The nerds, are well, nerds, I'm friends with some, others of them are just a bit .. well, we won't go there. Though sometimes Me and my mates fit into that group, in some subjects we finish faster than others, We just happen to pay attention in class.
Popular Unpopulars.
Now, this is where Me and my group would fit in perfectly, we're about the only group of this kind in my school. We hang out with each other always, we stick up for each other alot, and when one of us have a shit day, the rest of us usually follow with a shit day. We don't hang out with the populars, but we know them and we are friends with a minority of them. We are known by every group in year 10, and though not liked, if someone mentions our name, we are known.

This consists of New Zealanders, homies. Then there are the aussies, who try to be like them, They hang out, there aren't alot of them but they are usually the ones to start wannabe fights. Liked by some of the groups, hated by others.
So yes, Year 10. fun, but not really. eh.

i'm a unpopular loner @ my school. I dont give a damn about it though... I hate it. and in 2 years i'll be shot of it for good. I do give a damn about my work though dont get me wrong i want to do well!

Once you get into Year 12 the "groups" thing kind of breaks up.
Nobody can be bothered with it anymore, at least that's what happened here.
Although you're right about all the years hating each other, that never changes.
