"Waycest"
"Waycest" is used to define the slash pairing of Gerard and Mikey Way, the two btothers from My Chemical Romance, Gerard being the singer, and Mikey being the bass player.
As MCR's fame has become larger, so have the number of fans that they have got themselves.
Some of the fans are dedicated, some of them not so much.
Some fans write hetrosexual fan-fictions about the band, others write homosexual fan-fictions about the band, including various members of the band (Eg Bob Bryar [drums] and Frank Iero[guitar]) in sexual or romantic situations.
The two most common pairs are "Frerard" which combines Frank Iero and Gerard Way, and "Waycest" which, as mentioned above, combines the two brothers, Gerard and Mikey.
I don't mind reading "frerard" whenever I get bored, but 'Waycest" just freaks me out a lot.
Imagine some person wrote a story about you and a sibling having sexual relations, creppy, no?
If other people like it, that's alright with me, I just don't want to read it.

I think Waycest is disgusting, but while Frerards and such can be kind of intrusive, the idea is a lot less twisted, and i've read a couple and they havn't been disturbing.
It's what people want to write about, and people's idea of what's smutty will probably change over the years, like when people 150 years ago thought that books with sex in them were scandalous. Some of them are fairly well written. If it's just pretty much sex, or a one-shot that the writer uses an excuse to simply write porn, then that's disgusting, but slash isn't bad in my opinion if it has a credible storyline.
But i would never read Waycest by choice. It's just kind of immoral.

any form of slash is creepy. Related or not, its just nasty. Its intrusive into the band members lives and real fans wouldn't write that stuff O_O Im not saying they don't have the right to write it, they do, but its repulsive in my opinion and Im sure the band memebers would agree with me.

I generally stopped reading MCR fanfics - although, some I must admit are very well written with interesting plot lines.
Otherwise, there are so many of them which are too similar - troubled teen, possibly new at school, meets MCR or similar. Possibly becomes extremely happy. :/
