Essay
In the hope that it may motivate me to write more, I will type up the introduction of my practise english essay here. If you have any advice it will be appreciated.
How has your understanding of the nature of journeys been shaped by the texts set for study?
The texts set for study have helped shape my understanding of the nature of journeys by showing different perspectives of what inner journeys entail. The texts have shown that each journey can be different, according to which person is taking the journey, but can still remain the same in the idea that the actual journey is more important than the arrival. The texts that have helped to shape my understanding are My Place written by Sally Morgan, the poem "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost and the film Garden State written and directed by Zach Braff.
...I hate writing essays. I can't make them sound..intelligent?

"The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost.
I love that poet, and that poem. It is so amazing how he evokes an autum landscape in the verses with "yellow woods" and "lay in leaves".
:squeels at poem:
That poem as so much to do with maturity and takeing on adult responsibilities as we must choose our direction in life. It is so symbolic with what it represents. Each path can take you in a diffrent direction and at the very start of the path you can't see as to where it will lead or the affects it will have.
Of course then when you decide which path to take, it is almost imossible to return. But I suppose we can always wonder what life would have been like if we had taken the other path.
.........Sorry, I know that didn't help. Just rambling.

You don't have to make them sound intelligent, it all matters on what you do with the words and how you express your theories.
if you make it sound to complicated no one will want to read it, if you make it to a peers ability it helps alot because you know then that people then can have the chance to relate to what your saying withouth being confused.

Actually vonny, as much as you deny yourself. That was pretty brilliant.
