Performance.
Performance is a movie about a guy named Chas Devlin ( James Fox ), a gangster with talents of scary behavior and violence. Chas is a member of an underground business, as I got it, and pretty much lives a good life. That is, until a childhood friend of his, Joey, tries to kill him.
Chas ends up killing Joey instead, which turns the business against him. He escapes and ends up hiding in a retired rockstar, Turner's ( Mick Jagger ) basement. The meeting between Chas and Turner is like a collision between two different worlds.
The movie continues with break throughs and exchanging of roles, life and death, something that makes Chas lose the grip on reality.
Personally I think this movie is.. Amazing. I had high expactations and did not get disappointed. Mick Jagger and James Fox really impressed me by doing this movie, the roles suited them perfectly, and I enjoyed every second of it. I don't usually like old movies, but this one was great fun. I think it started off pretty weird and confusing, but realised more and more as it continued. And anyway I think it's meant to be weird. Especially when Mick Jagger came into the picture. I hadn't watched it when I bought it, but it was definitely worth the money. Watching it made me happy. It's one of those movies you just wanna see again, and again, and again.
Performance is a movie legend. Watch it and you'll know why. I recommend it.
& sorry 'bout my grammar.

Good review Joey. I like the way you have given us hints at the plot but not the details. It's definitely one I'll keep an eye at for at the DVD store. I like "weird" movies and this one seems like it has enough twists to keep me interested.
