My Family Problems...
My mom's drunk, she was just throwing up a ton, and I don't know what to do.
She claims that we were having a fun family night, but it wasn't fun for me at all. She was being loud, obnoxious, and downright annoying and here lately, her being drunk is becoming a pretty regular thing. I mean she doesn't hurt me physically, but she hurts me emotionally. She's just not my mom when she's drunk. I've tried talking to her, but she just said 'oh Wendy, I'm just having a good time and feeling good.'
I don't know what I feel right now. Pain for her? Pain for myself?
Sure I don't have it the worst in the world, but I just don't understand how people get drunk, just to feel 50 times worse later...
In other news, my best friend hates me, and I have absolutely no clue why. Is it because we're different 'stereotypes'?
It's like she's ashamed to be seen with me!
I just don't know.

This might seem like an unkind idea, but how about video taping her when she is like that, put a statement at the end of how much it affects you and show it to her when she is sober. Sometimes seeing yourself behaving like that is enough to shock you in to a change.
As to your friend, I agree with threeam.

Prove to her how much she worries you when she's drunk. It's clear that you're scared for her and you should be. If things really start to get bad then I suggest getting her some help. Try to stop this as soon as you can to prevent things from getting worse. As for your friend... Some friend she is for being "ashamed" to be seen with you. Talk to her and tell her how you feel. If she doesn't listen maybe she's not worth it.
