Obesity: My Views
I bet anyone who is going to read this is going to think oh no, here he goes again with his blogs, but I want to share something with everyone. I don't think anyone is obese.
Let me explain first before people try to create situations...
The goverment is constantly reminding us of obesity, you eat to much fat/food you'll end up the size of a bus. You eat too little your anorexic or have an eating disorder.
But what is obese?
A few pounds over the ideal weight, a few stone over it? Iether way the goverment can't say anything because most of them too are "obese" and preaching to others about it. Telling people what to eat, how much of it to eat and then telling them their society is a democracy. But how can it be free when there is fat men with pieces of paper watching our every move.
Gordon Brown has stated that he wants to encourage a policy. A policy that conflicts peoples health and even with life in some cirucumstances. If his policy comes through which I hope in general it doesn't, he could end up killing people and I think that makes him a modern day Hitler. Anyway, his policy is that overweight people and smokers don't have the right to the NHS. Yes, smokers destroy their bodies by smoking, but Gordon Brown also smokes. He wants overweight people to have to pay for their health problems, operations, appointments (etc) he too is overweight if you hadn't noticed.
So why the sudden descrimination, he wants the level of obesity and smoking down so he gets a pat on the back. He doesn't really care about people, if obesity and smoking was that bad he would order a conjunction on all supermarkets and every other kind of shop that sells junk food and stop producing fags. But guess what?
They won't! They'll loose too much money out of it, that's why they want double the money coming from these people who have problems.Just because someone is overweight doesn't mean they eat too much, they could have metabolism problems is that excluded or included.
All I can say is that in this very short para, I'm sickened because not everyone has the money to buy healthy organic food, who struggle to make ends meet and are maybe disabled and that is why they are the size that they are. But personall, Gordon Brown and the goverment should look a little closer to home before they dicated who deserves medical attention.

that is stupid. people shouldn't be judged by their size. that's terrible.
some people are actually born and built that way, and can't lose the weight.

I like this blog. made me feel good about me xD
So yeah,thanks for that.
And I agree though. I mean, sure, it's not healthy to be too overweight and all, but I don't think that should matter so much. But it's like how you look matter too much nowadays... when it comes to anything really. And I get why people get anorexic, and I get why some are overweight. But I mean... in the end it's the person inside the body that matter, not the way the person look.
I don't know if that was toootally in tune with your blog but yeah.
Good blog ^^,

This is a very serious subject. I have no idea who Gordon Brown is but that's not the point.
Are you saying this man says that people who smoke and are ovese don't have the right to have health insurence?
Because if so then that's crazy!
Someone's just eating a lot of food and should get help, not have it taken away from them.
Yeah thats me..., February 29th, 2008 at 03:43:48pm
Why should it matter what size someone is unless it's directly affecting you.
There shouldn't be an ideal weight in this world because no one is perfect, but the goverment wants us to be. Clones of society.
Why shouldn't someone hate the goverment? they have social workers who take kids off young mums because they think they can't cope even though they can, they put up the taxes, they stop benefits and force people who are sick to get a job.

I don't think they should have selective privillages regarding medication and money.
Then again, it isn't just the Government who preach these thoughts. Some people do need a kick up the arse to tell them "Please, put that mars bar down and try and make a change."
I don't know. I don't hate the Government. Hating your Government is stupid. I dislike themm they are useful in some ways.
Pointless comment.
:goes off to listen to Striknian DC who (I can't help but say this) I shared a fag with:
