Interesting Story Of The Day!!!
On the 2nd September 2006, I posted this:
'the rubber bands on braces are made out of the same thing as condoms'
that was the interesting fact of the day
tune in tomorrow to see it's interesting fact of the day!
And things spawned from there.
Basically, people liked them, so it became a ‘why not’ scenario.
Starting out within the journals, they were constantly sexual, with a break in habit to post Christmasy facts at the holiday season, yet soon, I hit trouble; there’s only so many sex facts and the scavenge began for interesting facts, but what does it take to be an IFOTD [or iFod, the new video fact summary].
1)They must make me laugh, smile or cause some feeling of happiness
2)Obviously, being interesting and factual is a must
3)None Elliot Minor based.
Number 3 is THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE. Why? Well; I have a huge addiction and to post one fact would cause me to post more…and more…and more. It’s a self restraint thing.
So, does this mean I’m on daily?
Well, sort of. For instance, tomorrow I shall not be on, hence am posting it after midnight tonight [Elliot Minor; 5th Time xD], but also there’s the holidays I go on. Once, last year, I went on a 2 day Geography trip, I got up at like 5am to post a fact and then at 11pm the night after. But then there are the 2 week holidays, well 16 days basically, but I beat that by posting 20 facts the night before I go.
Now, the iFod, as previously mentioned. Lizzie owns this idea [and owns you tbh], where I do a weekly or so video summary of the weeks facts, throw in some extras and in general be random.
Week 1
I was going to put the video here, but it works better if you shrink it one size on the youtube page and comments are nice xD
So, after a year and 7/8 months [I’m too ill to work it out], the facts are still going strong/
