is Green Day ever going to make another album?
Jeez, guys, give them some time. Billy Joe wants to hang out with his kids, Tre wants to... well, be an odd person. So give them time to be odd people... heck isn' t that why we love them?
Plus, they want to have an awesome, rockin' album. That's going to take a while if they want it to be even BETTER than American Idiot. I have no doubt that it will be better... way, mind-blowing, better.
Just yesterday I had a friend ask me, "Hey, do you think Green Day is going to tour anytime soon?" and I responded, "I think they will wait until after their new album."
Then she continued to ask if i knew when their next album would come out. I said I had no clue, that they would make it when they were all ready.(She askes a lot of questions.) ; )
SO.... Green Day, if you are reading this, just know that the fans are waiting patiently, and we will all fight to get in the stores and be the first ones to buy it THE SECOND IT HITS THE SHELVES!

i know they will make another one, it's just a matter of time. Their music means the world to me and i would love nothing more than to have it in my hands right now but if all this time off means that it will be equally stunning as all the rest...i will wait like a good girl

But almost five years of time off?
I'm glad they're taking time out to do things for other people and themselves, but I hate the fact that I'm getting picked on, cause they haven't been heard from in almost 5 years.
I hate it, cause two of them are my youth pastors.
But oh well.
Maybe getting beat up is worth it.

I love the fact that alot of people are getting all up in arms about it, I ean, My god they do have lives. Green Day is doing something alot of other bands should consider doing, TIME OFF! I mean, some of my favourite bands tour for nearly a whole year straight, and one of my favourites, the 69 eyes, put out two albums in a year and spent two straight years touring. They had half a year off and all their fans went insane, It's like, Come on man, Give bands a break <3

I think they're just taking some time off to be normal people.
American Idiot was huge, but the aftershock won't stop them.
They'll be back. Maybe it won't be as huge as AI, but whether it sells
1 copy or 3.4 million, I'll buy it no matter what. =)

seriously...i love them but i've lost a whole lot of interest and a whole lot of faith in them...i really can't continue listening to the same songs over and over agian. lol..

I'm trying to wait patiently and be as understanding as possible. I know they have other priorities, most importantly, their families. So I really don't mind waiting, as much as I'd like a new album, because I realize that they have personal lives, just like everyone else.
