The Past
I was just cleaning my room earlier, and I found a lot of things from my childhood that I hadn't given a second thought at the time I had obtained it. Now that I look at these objects, I realize that they mean a lot more to me now than they used to because they have memories attatched to them. For example, I found a book that my mom would always read to me when I was little. Sure, the story was dumb, but I've kept it this long because I always enjoyed my mom reading it to me before she passed away, and when I look at it, I can always imagine her reading the book, and sometimes, I can even hear her voice reading to me. The objects that you get in your life time shouldn't be important to you for what they materially are, but what connection it has to you. It might be really valuable in your future when you're cleaning your room and find it.

every time i see a rainbow colored pencil, i think of an old friend of mine who gave me his when i first started school
he was never too good at school and it was sopposedly lucky for him, cuz he used it during 6 seprate tests that he acually passed.
i havent really talked to him in years, but every time i see a rainbow colored pencil, it makes me think of what great friends we were
