you can get the sound they get with just single coils, you just need the right pedals and amp combonation, ya know? Floyd, the les paul jr he plays, is a single coil....

i hate to tell you this but your dad is right about not getting one this is like the WORST guitar to sart out on. TRUST me i have benn playing for 2+ years

well his thing is he doesnt think that id be playing it.. he told me that he didnt want to spend thousands of dollars just so itd lay around.. how would a fender be a good one to start out on? we have like 3 acoustics around my house but id rather learn the electic first ^^

You should start on acoustic first. That's what I'm doing. And then once you get good, upgrade to an electric.
And I started on a Ibanez although I thought I'd start on a Fender... it just depends on what's easier and what you like.

i tried acoustic before and it bored me.. i did it for like a week and was like ok this is boring and just kinda quit..

After my thread " Billie Joes first guitar Blue" was deletetd (which I don´t understand because it didn´t came on before and was very interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)


I will ask again: I rode two books. The biography from Marc Spitz and from Ben Myers.

Myers wrote that Billie became Blue from Andy who got it from a Big Bang Band.

And Spitz wrote that he got it from Ollie as an early christmas present.

So what is right????????????????????????????????????

its easier for me to play electric...i learn it faster and i cant stretch my fingers on an acoustic

I've been trying to get something a little like Blue for a while now. Like, without the stickers, although I intend to add my own ^_^
