HavingAGreenDay Falling In Love With The Board Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 5699	January 17th, 2007 at 05:45pm Chandramukhi.: It won't ever be as good as it was in 2005. That was the golden year for Green Day fanfiction. Everyone's turning towards MCR stories now. Maybe in a few years it'll be Evanescence (Ben-bashing) stories and then PATD and some random band that hasn't even formed yet. But Green Day stories owned 2005 and will never have another year as good. There ya go, took the words out of my mouth.

I know, sorry. Things will just never be the same as they were last year for stories, in the sense that many people don't even read them anymore. In some strange way, the survival of the stories depends on the success of Green Day. or the success of us... No, trust me, it really depends on the the kids. They're just sick of Green Day right now, because they overplayed American Idiot and learned so much about the band that their brains overloaded. I'll be fair and give it until next year to restore to the way it was in 2005, but it will be hard to ever do. My two scents. Yes Holly, you are legend. Awesome. 2005 was the ultimate, for sure. The first half of 2006 was pretty good, too. Let's hope next year when the next album comes out -- hopefully -- that the new batch of hardcore Green Day teenies, the fans who've since strayed, and the fans who've stayed true nonstop despite the band's time away from the spotlight, will bring the stories section back to a decently pulsating machine again. Maybe not as sooooper as 2005, but if not, then pretty darn close. And again...I'M LEGEND! Woo. That's so fetch, yo.
