I have ideas, but I'm having so much difficulty getting them onto paper at the moment. I'll have something by the weekend.

Ol' Blue Eyes. King For A Couple Of Days Age: 35 Gender: Female Posts: 4816	May 1st, 2007 at 08:02pm I've left this a bit late, but it's May 1st, last possible day. I've squeaked by! If I Wasn't Afraid. If I wasn't afraid, I suppose there would be a million things I'd do. I'd probably go skydiving, pierce several body parts and buy a pet snake. Maybe I'd start speaking my mind at all times regardless of who could hear. Because how many words have I held back for fear of offending you? Of course, I'd probably confess my love to several people, Because how many times have I lied and said "I don't love you" for fear of losing their friendship? I'd ask boys to prom, demand their love, demand their friendships. Hell, I might even wear that super-low cut shirt when I venture to their band practices. And while all of that is well and good, fine and dandy, I think the first thing I'd do if I wasn't so afraid, if my heart knew no fear, Would be to let my mind run wild, to dream a thousand dreams and want a thousand wants. Because all that keeps me from such dreams is the fear that I shall never attain them.

Daisy Chain I really like it, actually. The first stanza really grabbed my attention. It was by far my favorite.

Invisible in this world, Invisible but scared. My scares dont show but their deep, Deep like the ocean in wich my blood runs. The shadows in wich I lurk are starting to swallow me whole. And yet no one cares. No one is here to save me. They're all in their own world paying no mind to reality. So I'll stay lost until someone desides to care.

Maybe you should read page 1 and the rules. This month's topic is the picture up there. Your poem must pertain to that picture. Also, please don't post the poem here. Make a seperate topic for it and post the link here. Thanks.
