Right. I've been looking through stuff on Veritaserum and there's literally TONNES of stuff on the importance of Snape and everything surrounding/related to him. The one thing everyone is overlooking is that fact that Voldemort said in GOF that his "greatest and most trusted death eater (or something) is currently residing in Hogwarts" now that could've meant Barty Crouch Jnr, but surely it can't have been him. Whatsmore, Bellatrix seems incredibly hurt by something Snape says at the beginning of HBP concerning trust with Voldemort. We all know that Voldemort has or can never be loved, and prefers to work alone, but perhaps the closest he has to a ~friend~ is Snape.
Dumbledore trusted Snape because Snape is very good Occlumens, but Voldemort is almost definitely even better at Occlumency than Snape. He'd be able to see through anything Snape is saying. Thus I actually believe that while we want Snape to turn out good, I think he's going to play an immensely huge role in book 7 as a doer of evil... Either that or JK is just trying to keep us guessing, 'cause there's potential arguments for it either way (eg. him possibly loving Lily, the fact that neither his boggart nor Patronus has been mentioned etc.)

We don't know that.
Snape says in book 5 something like;
"for instance, the Dark Lord almost always knows when somebody is lying to him"

almost always.
Not always.
omg. Now you've mentioned that, it could perhaps prove that overall Snape is against Voldemort. I still think that before he turns, he's still going to be doing some very evil and dark things.
omg we watched this film about Irish Nationalism in History and Alan Rickman played the role of Eamon de Valera. He was very impressive and convincing, scarily like the actual real-life man... yet all I could think of whenever he was on was Snape going "people might think you're... up to something"
