NeoSteph Basket Case Age: 36 Gender: Female Posts: 16494	April 29th, 2007 at 02:17pm I'd thought i'd share my harry potter tradition which I have done since the third book with you all. Now you may or may not know that the book actually goes on sale at midnight and shops open especially for it, now every year since PoA me and friends have lined up outside to collect it. This has lead to many adventures, for example when the 4th came out I was quite young and me and my mates got lost at 1am in town and i had to phone my mummy for help. But possible one of the best days of my life was when the 6th book came out because it's the most fun i've ever had. This is what happened 7pm - met outside waterstones with lori, will and a few others. Set up beach chairs and portable cd player 8pm - got out the face paint and witches hats 8:30pm - ordered pizza from the line to confused dominoes 9pm - pizza arrives and by this time we have wine and other goodies 10pm - start why are we waiting chant to annoyed parents. 10:30pm - tried to start an unsuccessful game of twister 10:45pm- got mooned by passer by who had a wkd tattoo on his ass 11pm - will falls asleep, cue pen moustache 11:30pm - waterstoen workers hand out colouring competition, lori gets pissed of that she's too old to enter. midnight - get book and stay up 24 hours to read it. Share your plans for this year, I urge you all to do the midnight grab it's so much fun.

BUT if I stay here and don't work, i'll be with my best friend and we'll go to the bookstore that celebrates for it. last year they had house tables, Harry potter food and games.
