Hopes And Dreams, chapter 6
Lilly's POV
After the stupid movie ended, we all got up to leave. (including Abby,lol). Tre threw his last bits of popcorn at people, then skipped down to the movie exit merrily.
Billie Tre Jade and Abby all decided to go in the car, but I needed to go home, which was about a block away, so I decided to walk. I said bye to them all, and started walking down the sidewalk. All of a sudden, Mike popped up, and said that he wanted to walk me home. I smiled at him, while looking in his eyes. Jeez, I LOVE his eyes! There the most beautiful blue! For a moment I thought I was going to get lost in them, then I realised he was smiling at me. I turned away blushing a dark shade of red.
We had a silence, for awhile, and I started shivering, it was a pretty cool night in Cali. I guess he noticed because he gave me his black jacket. I thanked him, and then we finally started talking. I began by saying 'So, i havent exactly seen you guys around here, I was wondering why you Billie Tre Jade and Abby got kicked out of your last school?"
He laughed then said "Well, Jade and Abby got the brilliant idea to destroy the principals office.'
"How?"
"We were mad at our old principal, Mr.Bonter, because he gave us detention for throwing stuff at our French teacher. We threw paper balls and paint brushes at her, she was soooo mad, then Tre spat a spitball at her."
"That would have been soo funny!"
"It was, anyway, she got Mr.Bonter, and he mad us go to his office. He made us sit down on these ugly brown chairs, and then said he was leaving for five minutes, dont do anything stupid. But, really, what do u expect from five 15 year olds."
I chuckled, "Carry on"
"Well, Abby noticed some primer, and spray paint. And Jade noticed sme glue, so i'll assume you know what we did."
"Well, im pretty sure I do"
Hec laughed and said, "Yeah, he walked in on us, and yelled, and told us we may never come back to the school again. So, here we are now."
"Cool, well, heres my house now, I guess this is goodbye."
He sighed, and said 'Well, I had fun tonight, I want you to hang out with me and the guys more often, and the girls."
"I giggled and replyed "Wel Id love to, and were still going to Gilman right?"
"Of course, wel I should get gong, i'll see you at school tomorow, bye.'
He kissed my cheek and waved bye, then walked down the street. Holy shit! He just kissed my chek! I was bubbling with excitement. Then I realised I still had his jacket, I ran down the street and tried to give it to him, he just just laughed and said 'So, you making up excuses to see me."
"What? Im just trying to return your jacket!"
"Keep it."
And with that he started walking down the road.
I was soo happy! So I started skipping down the road in pur bliss, and walked into my house with a huge smile on my face, until I walked in the door and saw my dads expression.
