"Do You Have A Lifestory, Jimmy?", chapter 2

I woke up early. Earlier than ever. I was warm by the sun that shined into the tunnel. Wait. Sun, inside the tunnel?
I opened my eyes and blinked twice. Hell. I wasn't in the tunnel. Where was I?
I dragged my sleepy body from the ground.

"Jimmy?"
Suddenly, it got freezing cold. A chill wind wrapped around the world. I panted.
And then, two guys stood infront of me. One of them had a shirt saying "Rage" and the other one's said "Love". I grinned. I was just so dorky, I knew that it was all an illusion, but I couldn't wake up or ignore them. I was totally perplexed.

"Stop gleering," said Rage. "We have something important to tell you."
"Yeah, listen up," Love hurried. "Jimmy. Stay away from him."

I raised an eyebrow, and opened my mouth to say something, but the words just didn't come out like expected.

"Come on, he's--" Love began and went a step closer to me, but he got cut off by Rage.
"Listen, Whatsername!" he hissed. He sat down on his heels, close to me. "This is the dawning of your life."

Then the wind came back, and blew all three of us to different directions. I tried to scream, but I couldn't. My lungs didn't get any air... My head was just a dizzy mess... Everything blinked in different colors, and...

"Whatsername! Wake up!" A horrified voice screamed. "Hey! Wake up!"
I panted for air and flew up to sitting.
Jimmy sat infront of me, in the tunnel, just where I fell asleep the night before.

"Easy, easy now, just a nightmare..." Jimmy's voice was reassuring, and he beamed at me. "You okay?" He took my hand and looked into my eyes with a worried glance.

"Yeah, I guess," I replied and felt my pulse even out again. "Jeez..."
"Just take a deep breath," Jimmy calmed me down. "Sure you're okay?"
"Thanks Jimmy, I am."
He smiled and nodded, and I smiled back as glad as I could look in that seat.

"Soo," I began after about three silent minutes. "Uh, shall we... um... shall we, uh, keep going on together?"
"You mean, be friends?" Jimmy grinned. "Sure, I'll be your friend. If you'll be mine."
"Deal," I laughed and high-fived him. "We better get moving, I'm starving."

***

"I'll do it," I whispered to Jimmy.
"Sure you'll make it? That watchman looks scary."
"I can do it! I could beat him up. Really, hell, I'm used to it."
Jimmy and I stood behind a bush and looked down at the first floor of the shopping mall.
"Go on then." He puffed jokingly on me.
I grinned.
"See ya."

I stepped onto the escalator, trying to look unprepared for anything. But I knew I wasn't one in the crowd, I couldn't be. And shopping malls suck, I always got paranoid of having a lot of other people around.
I pretended to randomly see the grocery store, and walked closer. The watchman leered at me. Damnit.

With a faked "I'm not aware of the watchman" feeling inside, I walked into the store, and away to the candy and sweets.

I was really hungry, but I couldn't get bread or something bigger into my pockets.
Rapidly, I snapped two chocolate bars and put them in my pocket. Great, nobody saw me.

I went over to a coke crate, and put a bottle inside my jacket. Then I carefully sneaked out again, trying to seem random.
I swallowed. The watchman was walking in my direction. Shit, I thought and picked up the pace.

"Hey you, Shoplifter!"
Damnit. Damnit. I started to run. Or, rather rush.
Everyone turned around and watched the guard chasing me. It was really embarrassing.

"Somebody stop her!"
I sneered as running downstairs. It was pretty fun, kind of. But oh well, he got me.
He grabbed my sleeve and pulled as hard as he could, and tripped me over.

"Ouch!" I yelled as my body hit the floor. "Are you trying to kill me?!"
"Get on feet," the watchman growled. "Come on." He harshly dragged me on up again.

"Hey! Don't touch her!"
We both turned around, and saw Jimmy running up to my rescue.
"Stay away, kid!" The watchman pushed me aside, and I groaned. He wasn't very sensitive.
"I know her!" Jimmy assured, and nodded certifying.
The watchman opened his eyes wide, with a glance of disbelief.

"Is she your girlfriend?"
The corner of Jimmy's mouth moved a little, a beginning to a smile.
"Oh yeah, she is," he stated and took a step closer as the watchman backed up.
I gleered at Jimmy, and he beamed.
"Am I?" I mimed, and Jimmy just blinked.
"She's under arrest." The watchman grinned, and pulled my arms back even more. "We're going to the policestation, you better follow me, kids."
