Ottawa, ON Corel Centre, September 4th, 2005
The concert at the Corel Centre was an amazing concert! They had fire going up everywhere, they had the amazing solos, and the way they played the guitars was awesome!
They played behind their backs! Billie Joe Armstrong also bent down on one leg, stuck the other one out, and started hopping around onstage while playing the guitar.
Near the middle of the show, Billie Joe got a fire hose and began spraying the general admission crowd. He also grabbed what looked like a 12 or 13 year old boy to help spray everyone.
Tre Cool had also saved up all of his drum sticks until the end and began thorwing them all over the crowd. Billie Joe also mooned the crowd numerous times. For every Ay-oh he made us repeat, we did.
After a few Ay-oh's, Billie Joe had began having orgasms and stuck his hand down his pants. That was the only time people stopped screaming, and instead began laughing very hard.
Green Day sounds amazing live and played a lot of their old songs. They played songs like, "Basket Case" , "Longview", "Maria", "Minority" and they even played the song "We are the Champions" by Queen.
They also appropriatley dedicated "Wake Me Up When September Ends" to the victims of the New Orleans disaster. They also played "Holiday" and Billie Joe very appropriately said: "This next song is a big F*** you to George W. Bush!"
That is when everyone began cheering so loud that it echoed through your ears throughout the rest of the song! When Billie Joe was introducing the band, he introduced himself last and first said: "..and my name is George Bush!" Everyone just booed and booed!
Then he yelled out "No, I'm sorry, I am actually an asshole!" Everyone cheered after that, and they continued playing their music. There is my review of that amazing concert! Oh, not to mention, Green Day sounds so pro live!
