Hi, I'm Aliya and I'm a big fan of My Chemical Romance. That is my favorite band ever because they kept me alive and if they didn't exist, I wouldn't be here. I'm a member of their fansite ImNotOkay.net and you'll find me as my username here. My friends also keep me alive and I love 'em for caring for me. People on INO are much nicer to me than people at my school (I'm serious).

I'm the kind of person that would always make your day because I'm exciting and hilarious. In a group, most of my friends come to me for help and I'm always there to give them some of my advice. I'm a girl trying to live it up in the world (or basically in Rocklin, California) a little bit and become interesting. But hey, I'm at least extraordinary to people that respect me. And trust me, if you meet me and get on my good side, I'm sure we'll get to be great friends!

I'm pretty damn short and to prove to you that I'm short, my height is 5"1. I am a writer (no shit!) and can think of very interesting non-cliche stories. Some of you that have read them know what I mean. I can also write my own songs. And maybe someday I'll start my own band. I could play the guitar and the piano. Some MCR songs that I can play on the piano "Helena", "Welcome To The Black Parade", "Demolition Lovers", "Dead!", "Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough for the Two of Us", and "Drowning Lessons".

My guitar has an awesome red color, so I named it Ruby. My acoustic guitar is named Diamond because it's my best friend (psh, and they say diamonds are a girl's best friend?). I usually try to control myself when somebody messes with me. I don't really want to get suspended from school because I kicked their ass, no matter how satisfying it will be.

I sing and it's really rare to hear my voice because I'm not really open minded with that. Um, kinda need to work on that, don't I? I love to sing, but hopefully I'll love to sing in front of a real audience if I want to someday start my own band. I'm just so damn shy. I'm really goofy and tend to always trip, no matter what it is. I think I even tripped over a bug (JK). Clumsiness is fun, isn't it? Anyways, I hope you enjoyed learning about me.

I am now officially sick of the word "LOL" because of my friend, Bobby. While I was in Vegas, we were texting each other and almost every text he sent me had "LOL" in it, making me sick. He's overdosed me with the word and I now want to erase it out of my life completely. Hmm, I make it sound like a drug. It's infecting like one anyway.

So many things to describe them, I don't quite know where to start. They have showed me that life is hard, but It's worth living. I'm no longer afraid to be messed up and they've seriously done a lot to make a difference. Could I even get through shit with people at school without listening to their words? The music has so much meaning and emotion. I've been to concerts to support them as my heart beats out about MCR. If you don't feel the emotions in their music, then you most certainly don't have any emotions at all.


Avenged Sevenfold

These guys are awesome. They're not afraid to try things different. Everything in their music has something incredible. They showed that I could become a better person. The vocals are powerful. The guitars sound great and I love the concepts of their songs. I've attended concerts and they sound even better live. I hope to see another one of their concerts and experience another breath-taking show. It was also worth it going to sleep at 2:00 am on a Monday night after seeing them.

Paramore

Wow, I have so much to say about this band. All in all, I love 'em. They have showed me to have a great time in my life and I appreciate the music abilities of Hayley, Josh, Zac, and Jeremy. Ever since I heard the song "Pressure", I was instantly aroused by the amazing lyrics. It made me love some of my immature moments because that's when I'm the happiest. Hopefully one day, I'll be able to rock out at their concerts and prove to them that I was inspired.

Flyleaf

This band has really spoken to me and I love their expressive feelings for God. They have good points in the meaning of their songs that I absolutely admire. Like the song "Cassie" I understand what it means and it sometimes makes me wonder about God, too. I really love what Lacey is trying to show and some people just don't understand the band's beliefs. Maybe I'll get to see them in concert, too. It would mean everything in the world if I ever got to see them.




Frank Iero is the one that made me want to play guitar. I think he's really an amazing guy. He's simply the best guitarist that has influenced me so much. I hope that one day I'll play the guitar as good as he can as soon as I start my own band. And if anyone calls him a queer or a fag, I'll hunt you down and make you regret saying those dreaded words.
