Bullying.
So this is my first blog, hope it makes a bit of sense.
Bullying
Its an issue that I’ve been closely linked with in the past, and even now. Bullying is one thing that is easily shunted aside in society as not many know how to deal with it.
To this day, when I hear people talking of their hardships at school or their latest blast of insults they’ve had fired at them it makes me think back to my days of experiencing relentless taunting and physical bullying.
Bullying is the kind of issue that can affect anyone and everyone, that’s why it needs to be dealt with on a higher level. But is there a solution to it, or will it continue till the end of our days?
Going back to when I was around 9 years old, I experienced the worst days of my life, also the ones I tried so hard to forget. My own best friend tried to take control of my life, turning it into a living hell. For days on end, I was teased, pushed against walls until I bled or kicked until I gave in.
I had tried hard to tell my class teacher but she pushed it aside and told me it would pass and I never did bother my family with it. Maybe that was half of the problem.
Whenever I had spoken to other bully victims, they told of how they had plucked up the courage to talk to someone about it but then the teasing had worsened as the bully found out and taunted them for being a “grass” or a “tell tale”. So does confessing problems like this help?
They day my life as a bully victim ended was the day I had finally found the courage inside of me to stand up against the girl with the help of a friend I had confided in. When she realized her taunts would no longer be effective, she backed off.
So maybe good friends are the way through?
Depending on the severity of the bullying different methods are needed. Now with school guidance councillors and confidential conversations with such people, bullying can, to an extent, can be overcome. With good friends who’ll stick by you, problems can be combated just by talking about it.
There are many different views on bullying and how to tackle it, that’s just mine. Its still an issue I find hard to talk about, also the reason why I have trouble in trusting people, that may be why it could sound muddled in parts.

I concur. There are so many different types of bullying, even someone giving you a greasy everyday can make you weak and feel hatred towards that person.

Woah..thats is full of emotion and well written.
Yeah, Bullying is mainly down to insecurities and jealously.
Its been around for ages and it will continue to be, becuase its in human nature to be jealous of people.
Love the blog <3 :D

i don't trust people as much because of bullying. I keep things to myself, and good friends have helped, but good friends from GSB mainly. I found GSB as an escape to the bullying, people gave me confidence and showed me people do care.
This blog is completely true and just amazing
