APEC got PWNED by The Chasers
APEC got PWNED.
APEC stands for ‘Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation’
So what is APEC I hear you ask? APEC is basically a corporation that involves countries such as Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, PNG, China, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, USA Vietnam.
It was started in 1989 by Bob Hawk (Aussie Prime Minister at the time) as a means to help Asian Pacific countries deal with matters such as regional economy, cooperation, trade and investment.
Basically, this year Australia will be hosting APEC, and George Bush has arrived in Australia to take part in this APEC meeting. Because Bush is in our country, there has been A LOT, and when I say a lot, I mean a lot of controversy.
Firstly, yesterday (Thursday), there were 2 protests going on, one of them in Sydney, and one in Melbourne (teehee, I be from Melbourne) . These protests were put in place to protest against George Bush being in our country. I would have gone to the Melbourne one, but I don’t know much about the Bush, and I don’t know enough things about him to protest against him.
But not only that, $180 million of Australian Tax Payers dollars was spent on high top security to make sure Mr Bush was safe in Australia from any Bush-hating-extremist, or from being shot.
Once you think about that kind of money, you start to think “Wow, that’s a lot of money that must mean Australia got some really tight security!” But wait, you are wrong.

From Left to Right. Craig Reucassel, Andrew Hanson, Chas Licciardello, Julian Morrow and Chris Taylor.
So this is what they did. They decided that they would try to get near the InterContinental Hotel, which is where US President George W Bush is staying. The streets around this hotel have been bombarded with a lot of security, snipers that are on the rooftops of other hotels and the hotel itself to ensure no one tries to hurt Mr Bush, and basically, you need ID to get through security.
The Chasers got past security with fake ID’s.
And these are the fake ID's they used

What The Chasers did was pretty clever to be honest, they staged a motorcade involving two black vans, a hire car with Canadian flags on the bonnet, two very unofficial-looking motorcycles and jogging trying to breach security.
They basically got through 2 checkpoints of security and nearly got in the hotel George Bush was staying in.
Chas and Julian remained un-noticed until Chas had gotten out of the car dressed as Osama Bin Laden.
This would be Chas laughing at the matter

Chas and Julian, I think, wanted to talk to George Bush, I am not too sure what about though. Although what astounds me most is the fact that us Australians pay tax, and $180 million of taxes was spent of top security for keeping George Bush safe.
"All 11 have been charged under the new APEC legislation with entering a restricted area without justification.
They were all granted bail, but on the condition that none of the group can enter any of the declared security zones during APEC.
Police say that while it appears the stunt was a prank, the current security environment was not the place to do it in.
The group did not offer any comment as they were released."
Once you think about that, you begin to wonder if the real Osama Bin Laden could have gotten to George Bush. So, the APEC security, I believe, are only angry because someone dressed as Osama got through security.
So I shall conclude this by saying, APEC got PWNED.
This is a video of some of it.

The lengths Chasers go to are extreme.
I love it.
People on the news and in the papers take things like this much to seriously.
Personally, I don't wash Bush in Australia.
The last thing we need is Johnny Boy kissing his ass even more.
