Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone was just there own person?
Wouldn’t it be nice if everyone was just there own person?
I mean, I know this is stereotypical but walk into any jr high or high school and all you get is little Abercrombie wearing children who fell there lives are ruined because they have been single for “2 whole mouths.”
I don’t know if this is the case everyone but it seems to be an issue in most schools. People put so much effort into conforming and being like everyone else, they want to be someone else, but the person they want to be isn’t even being his or herself. People just don’t have there own ideas anymore, If you try to do something different people will stare in amazement.
And of all trends that make no sense isn’t the “lets not fit in” trend the most hypocritical? If you make not fitting in a trend what will the people who are truly original do? If your being nonconformist just to be nonconformist then isn’t that basically being conformist?
I want to be myself, but when everyone copies you and turns everything into a trend you just fell like another trend follower. No one is 100% conformist or nonconformist, but people pretend to be. Why put so much effort into impressing someone else? Why can’t we try to make ourselves happy?
I just wonder what everyone I know is really like, I wonder if they are really interesting people or if they really are all they seem to be.

this blog explains pretty much how i feel about the "not fitting in trend" thing. i always wear whatever i want and usually i got picked on over it until this thing started. now, i'm considered a "fake" or "poseur". it really annoys me...

this is a good blog. the good thing about my school is that we have uniform so that solves that side of things but we only have the way we act to show ourselves and in our year there is one big group who think they're the best and in fact they're not very nice at all. They lord over people, laugh at them, take the micheal and it's not fair at all. I know you can't change people because they're how they are but it would be nice if someone just taught them how to behave. properly.
is it like that anywhere else who has a uniform at school or is it just my school?

I don't "fit in" I suppose, I just wear whatever's on the floor on the morning and is clean. I don't really worry about this topic because it has absolutely nothing to do with me.

And many people by trying to fit in become like everyone else. Trust me, not fitting in is awful. You come to a point that you hate it.
So, my point is that you should really think about the other side of what you wrote, too.
No offense.
