The Story of Megan Meier.
A young girl, Megan Meier, only 13 years old was totally in love with this boy. He was all she ever wanted, she loved him so much. She met Josh on myspace. For once a guy seemed interested in her. She was chubby and depressive. She always had trouble with her self-esteem but this boy seemed to love her anyways.
Megan, only 13 years old, now is dead. Her "boyfriend" suddenly started calling her bad names, bullying her, and got friends to bully her too. Suddenly all her myspace friends were against her. They posted bulletins saying Megan Meier is a slut. Megan Meier is fat.She couldn't take it anymore...and hanged herself.
The last message she read was from Josh:
Everybody in O'Fallon knows how you are. You are a bad person and everybody hates you. Have a shitty rest of your life. The world would be a better place without you.
Megan, 13 years young, is gone forever. The boy who did all this to her was an ex friend of hers. A girl. A girl who faked to be a boy. She and her mom and a colleague made up "Josh". And the whole family was involved in this! The bizzare thing: There is no law that can sentence them.
I'm asking myself how f*cked up must someone be to do this? Cyber bullying is just as bad, no maybe even worse than "normal" bullying. Cyber bullying is mental, it consists of words! And words are the worst weapons!
And you know what...I've seen bullying on GSB too. Even today. And it doesn't matter if its someone "fake" or someone "real". It's horrible either way.
Think about what you do before you act it out!

That's horrible! She was so gorgeous! I can't believe it. Such a normal girl died in such a horrible way. She looked foward to getting her braces off, her 14th birthday was in three weeks, and then she committed scuicide. I had tears in my eyes when I read that story...
