Through my eyes
I was sitting here, almost writing an entire book about what photography is to me. Most of it just became a mess and huge self-contradiction. Therefore, I will do what I'm supposed to; let the pictures speak for themselves. These are all taken by me, unedited, and if anyone wonders, I use a Nikon D40 with the kit objective (18-55 mm) and a zoom objective (55-200 mm). And just to make me sound professional and very cool; copyright by Alice. Don't you touch! Thank you for taking a look and telling me what you think! :>

i'm sorry but i've got no idea what it'd be in USA, i'm swedish and obviously bought my camera over here. for the camera house and 18-55 mm objective, I paid 3800 sek which is 487 dollars.
(and i'll have to say i'm sorry again in case i misunderstood your question. my excuse is as usual - I'm Swedish 8D)

I've been looking at cameras because my parents want to get me one,
my mom wants to get me a professional one and I like like Nikon's as I can see you use.
my question is with the camera and the kit would you saw it cost about a little over a thousand? or more?
