Prep Rallies
What is it with people?
I was sitting at the school pep rally on Friday - or, as I like to call them, "prep rally" - and I remembered the previous prep rally.
I was sitting next to my friend, Kilyssa. Some whores were sitting behind us and we tried our best to ignore them.
They were kicking us and shoving us and punching us and throwing stuff at us like pencils and gum and paper. I turned around and told them to stop and they didn't. I told a teacher and she said to ignore them. Then they picked on a skinny blonde girl in pink wearing way too much makeup and got a week's detention.
I tried once again to ignore them, even though they were now yelling stuff at us and egging us on. It was mostly just me.
Then Laura tapped me on the shoulder roughly and said, "Hey, Skylar, are you bi? Cuz, like, most goth girls are bi." I am bi, but I wasn't going to tell her that. Plus, how rude is it to assume someone's sexuality just by how you stereotype them? I was not going to let her think she was right. But I wasn't going to lie either.
"I'm not a goth," I replied venomously.
"What are you, then?" she asked skeptically.
"I'm me."
They kept on bugging us until I turned around. If looks could kill they would be bleeding on the floor in a thousand pieces. It was the worst look you could've ever gotten, even from me, who is famous for my facial expressions.
She freaked out and hid behind this Austin guy, begging for protection.
I forget what he said to me, but it was enough to set me over the edge. I whipped around and grabbed his throat, digging my nails in.
He was laughing with the little oxygen he could get. He was telling me to kill him.
These people could not take a hint.
If I really wanted to kill him he would've dropped dead long before I even grabbed his throat. But I wasn't serious.
I let go and spun around to face the basketball challenge between the teachers and students, and they spit on Kilyssa's head.
That's what happened.
Now people don't call me goth anymore, but they do call me emo and yell things like, "Go cry!" and "Go fucking cut yourself, fucking emo cunt!" and "Just kill yourself and do us all a favor."
They also think I'm a lesbian because I listen to Katy Perry.
Plenty of straight people sing "I Kissed A Girl" all the time, but people only give me shit about it because I'm different.
I don't really know what the point of this blog was, I just had to get some of this off my chest. I'll elaborate on the Katy Perry thing later, though.

to each his own.
basically if you wouldn't react the way you did, they would eventually stop. And another, if you maybe didn't call they hor3s they would leave you alone :] but eventually they'll be living on the streets without a penny to their name.
:D

I ditch my school's pep rally. I find them a waste of time and I'd rather be in class.

these people are clearly morons. Your not alone with being ridiculed, especially this generation with the whole 'emo' scene and whatnot, people tend to be very bitter as we all know.
We cant stop it, its just how it is. Kids grow up, and aren't taught manners. They grow up with an ego. It just sucks that we live with so many morons these days.
I hope they back off. Being yourself, i suppose, is the best you can do.
