Its been nearly a week and I already hate year 12

Subjects: English, Theatre Studies, Food Tec, Studio Arts, VET Music.
Studio Arts isn't what I thought it would be. You know how in year 7, 8, 9 and a bit of year 10 you just got to paint and draw what ever you wanted? Not year 11 or 12. Year 11 Studio Arts wasn't bad because while you were doing your artwork you had to write down everything that went wrong and everything that worked and before you started the artwork you had to trial different materials. Well, year 12 you have to research other artists, trial every material even if you don't plan on using it, write an essay thing about your theme and what you wanna do. That means you don't start your artwork until 2nd semester. I admit, planning an artwork isn't bad, but I'm the kind of person who likes to get right into it. I can't wait, I just have to get it started. I mean, it's only been a week and I've already got pages of ideas, but my teacher won't let me start an artwork. I can experiment in my book. Thats all.

English is already stressing me out.We have to practise writing an essay for our text on Cosi. I'm not the best essay writer. The highest mark I've ever gotten for an essay was a D. I don't know how I'm gonna be able to do this. We haven't even read the whole text yet. We were supposed to read all 3 books over the holidays but my books didn't arrive until 3 days before I went back to school. I read the Crucible and got half way through the Secret River. Stupid Landmark. I asked my teacher for help and all she said was "Just do your best". I was hoping for tips on how to write a good essay, but ok Mrs Toomhey, if you want me to do my best I'll try but your not gonna give me an A I can tell you that lol.

Food Tec is a pain in the neck. First we start getting ready for our SAT, then my teacher, Mrs Jenkins, tells us to answer a bunch of questions in the text book and we're focussing on food poisoning and food spoilage until 2nd semester. Wouldn't it be smart to tell us about the SAT now so we know what we're doing? All I know about the SAT is that we have to pick a theme and choose 5 to 8 products, 2 we have to compare to a packaged product, so like if I make tomatoe sauce I have to compare my tomatoe sauce to the sauce you buy at the supermarket...if that makes sense. I asked our teacher if we have to have specific cooking methods for our products but she just ignores me. She's helping me with books and websites that have good recipes for my theme (Halloween) but I'm not sure if they will be the right products.

I've only had one class of Theatre Studies so far and THANK GOD I don't have the same teacher I had for Drama last year. There were 4 people in the class and she focussed more on 2 of the girls and ignored me and my friend Ellora so we were always stuck on what to do and they passed with flying colours while we were struggling and getting yelled at every lesson because we didn't know what to do. We couldn't ask for help because she yelled us when we did and she was scary when she yelled at us. Luckily for Theatre Studies I have Mr Bennets and he's had about 30 years experience with Drama, both teaching and performing. I've worked with him since year 8 and he knows what hes doing.

Now, I know Muck up day isn't for months but I've got 2 ideas for my costume picked out but I can't decide which one to do. I love Music and I love Vampires. For Music I chose Michael Jackson because he's my favorite singer. No I won't get picked on for it because just about everyone at my school likes Michael Jackson Smile. For Vampires I chose the original Dracula. I need votes on which one to pick. I know its very very early but I just want to be prepared Smile
