thinking about the future, forgetting about the present
Lately I have been so busy with getting out...
leaving this town, finishing highschool, starting uni...
I was so busy being sick of everything
that I forget to be happy...
I realised that after the easterbreak, I start my final trimester...
I only have 28 schooldays left...
I'm going to london and sicily with school, I'm so lucky...
and I took me so long to realize that...
I took me ages to realize how happy I am..
my parents are still together, I have amazing friends, I get along with my sister, I have a great life, and I get loads of oppurtunities to have amazing experiences,
and I would let that all pass, just to start next year...
September will be here soon enough, I should just enjoy the time I have left with my friends... because I know that some of them, I will lose contact with, how close we are...
I should just make those 28 schooldays the best ones of highschool...
and I should stop worrying about what is going to come next year...
it doesn't matter cause all I have is now... not tomorrow...

So true. Hardly anyone can look to tomorrow and say: "Yes. I can always depend on tomorrow to be happy. I promise I'll be happy tomorrow."
Today is the day to live in. Not tomorow. What's going to be tomorrow? Another sunrise, another sunset? We might not even be around tomorrow to enjoy it. Live in the moment. Hold on to it. Remember. And just know, just know, that today can be the day that you can live life to its fullest. Not tomorrow.
