For some reason, the West has to veiw this critically and scrutinize every aspect of the Chinese government's quite good plan in my opinion, to make China a better country. There are a few loop holes, but it is hard to control one billion people, and I give them credit for trying.

Early reports show that women as far along as 8.5 months pregnant were forced to abort by injection of saline solution into the womb.

These are illegal forced abortions, you know. I know a Chinese woman who had two daughters, and when asked if she had any problems, she replied that there were no problems what-so-ever. They point is that China is not a pro-abortion country. The country does not demand every second baby to be killed.
