With the possible exception of rape, every woman makes the single choice to have sex. Sex, which is an act designed to further the species, which is directly designed to create new life. I think one should always be prepared, when making that choice, of the possible consequence.
See, the only person who doesn't have a choice is the potential baby. They never chose to be created, they didn't choose to be unwanted. Seems to me like they're paying for the fact that their mother wasn't entirely prepared. This all falls into when does a live begin.
Some people whould see the fetus as a 'potentiol life' others would see it as a child, living a breathing, whereas others may feel that the baby doesn't even exsist yet, and is merely a bunch of cells. |

Not pro-abortion. I am pro-abortion. That doesn't make me want to murder every child that is ever conceived. I believe women should have the choice and if their choice is abortion then so be it.
You're making pro-abortion sound like an absolute idea when it's not. |

 | April 19th, 2007 at 01:34pm I think abortion is good. Many people have sexual relations without a condom because they are too drunk or have no money. Just think you've just found out you're pregnant, what would you do? The easiest thing would be abortion as it takes care fo the problem quickly.
Now, if you are religious in any way that says abortion is not good, and you follow those ideas, then it would be ip to you in deciding whether abort or not. |

Pro-choice people accept that this cannot always happen are therefore, pro-choice.
But they still are pro-life. |

That's why I disagree with abortion as birth-control.
Condoms are free at any Planned Parenthood.
And a drunk parent is not a good parent.

Just because you can not remember to use contraception is not a valid reason for the NHS to spend their money on your abortion. Abortion's should not be used as a contraceptive. |

Eh, excuse me, but a baby is not a 'problem' that should be dealt with quickly.
If you don't use a condom from being too drunk or too poor, then everything is entirely your own damn fault, and if you decide to murder that baby because of your own stupid mistake, then a murderer is exactly what you are.
They type of people that would kill a child because of that are the type of people that don't deserve a choice. |

| April 19th, 2007 at 01:38pm personally the only problem I have with abortion is that the maximum date is way to far advanced and should be shortened dramtically. At 24 weeks a baby has a 50 percent chance of survival outside the womb and you can abort then. I've also heard case of 28 weeks which is borderline murder. |

Yes, but then you have to think that the baby will be born probably with FAS, malnourished, possibly miscarried or stillborn, and then placed in foster care for the rest of it's life.
