I'm not religiuos, I have never read the bible, I have only been to church once after I was baptised(due to a forceful nature of an old friend).
I believe, maybe somewhere, the Bible could be wrong.
I mean there is one version that says it's okay to murder your own child if they back-talk to their parents.
But, what the hell do I know? I didn't write it.
Anyway, in my opinion love is love. No matter what. And if that love is between two people of the same sex, so be it.
So I have a few things to say to those who don't approve of gay marriage:
1.) Get the hell over it. It's the 21st century, things are different.
2.) You say racisim is bad. Guess what, racisim is more than skin deep. You're bashing people because of their homosexuality, just as someone of the KKK would harm a black person. Verbally, or physically.
3.) If two men or two women decide to bang eachother, it doesn't effect you at ALL.

It's strange how people go on about "Oh I'm not homophobic" but then they go on about how these two girls in our year level are always snuggling each other in the classroom corner. At first, I thought it was good for them to open up cus I hated how they kept denying it at first, but it gets really in your face with them two and I suppose some people aren't accustom to the lesbos. Then people yap their gums away like crazy about how the teacher caught them in the toilet.
It's weird how everyone says it's ok to be gay but then talk about the lesbians behind their backs. We try not to bring it up but..
Sorry for babbling about something slightly off topic but here is an example of being openly gay that's happening around me atm. |
