I read something interesting about the difference between -sexual and -phile
So you can be heterosexual but homophile and vice versa or just homosexual/homophile etc. and probably bi-both blah blah.

A lot of women identify as bisexual and heterophile.. -phile means "love" and -sexual means to be sexually attracted to, so a lot of people might be physically attracted to only one gender or both genders or something else, but could only imagine themselves being in a certain relationship.

I feel like I'm rambling. Does it make sense?

For me, I don't give a crap whether someone is gay or lesbian or bi or transgendered. I accept everyone for who they are because they know deep in their hearts that they are that person and nothing can change them. I'm sexually attracted to men, but I'm also attracted to women, but not sexually. In my heart, I know that I'm bi and that nothing will change that fact.

Please refrain from posting in the thread if you have nothing new to add to the discussion.

No, what you said made sense.

I guess see that,I've known people to be sexually attracted to both genders but say they couldn't see themselves dating male/female. Which it sort of odd but that ^ explains it.

...I'm attracted to kittens but not sexually, so I'm not a zophile. How does being non-sexually attracted to women make you bisexual? Neutral Your sexuality doesn't encompass everything you've ever liked...

That makes sense. Instead of -phile, I use -romantic. Asexual people use it a lot, to describe their romantic/affectional orientation. Like they could be a biromantic asexual, or a heteroromantic asexual. But anyone can use it really. You could be a biromantic heterosexual, or a homoromantic bisexual, or even a heteroromantic homosexual...obviously if you're biromantic and bisexual you just go by bisexual, but sexuality isn't always as simple as that Very Happy

I think I probably just said what you said, only with different words Shifty
