There is nothing wrong with being gay.

People say it's wrong because of the Bible.

BUT, Who wrote the Bible? You don't know. It could have been some loser who had nothing to do, you don't know.

Therefore, that's an invalid reason for gays being 'evil'.

Well, again, that depends what you believe. If you believe he did, then that's fine. But I personally DON'T believe he did, and I actually am starting to believe what I wrote above (not the schizophenic bit hehe, just that a family wrote it, and it took off). But like I said, if you believe that God did tell the people to write what they wrote, then I certainly don't have a problem with that.

I think lot of what church says in wrong...sorry I'm not offending no one but they say to most of the things are evil...like once i was wathing tv and they said that who listen to rock, metal, punk and music like this and wear black is posessed by satan...oh come on! If there's a god, i don't think he cares about who's gay and who's not!
It's like icecream; someone likes chocolate, someone else vanilla....

I know i go to a Christian school and i listen to rock and rap ect. and they said all of its bad and its evil. Since the teachers at my school dont listen to the rap and rock i listen to. B/c they just said rock was bad based on what it use to be like when kiss, montley crue (sp), and some of the others that were big. And with rap ppl listen to that more which is most of it is terrible how they degrade women and other things...but anyway the school, the teachers based all rap being all about that...but they never listen to all the positive rap songs...so they say its bad. (i hope this makes senses.lol)

I'm surrounded by Christians, and I've never had a problem with them over my music or dress at all. Maybe the one's I know are just more open-minded, but they don't see a problem with any of it.

Hello everyone i am hear to discuss that being gay is VERY WRONG:

1) nature intended for a male and a female to have sex to produce children and continue the human race. Now imagine that every1 on teh world was gay. waithin 100 yars the human race would die out and nothing would be left.

2)You might think that you love another man and u might, but true love can only develop between a male and female

3) If males could reproduce i would not have a problem with gays but the point is they cannot, and to reproduce sperm must be put into a womens virgina and fertalise the egg, but having someone up the bum does not acheive this and it is a waste of sperm.

Also, How do you account for the fact that 10% of every animal species is born Gay?

its not the students its really the ppl who work there who have a problem with things we, the students, listen to and the way we dress. Example1: My friend nick he wears long t-shirts that go to his fingertips and long shorts with a belt that are at his wast but still the teachers say your shirt is longer than your fingertips its to long so tuck it in so he saids it's to my fingertips and so she changes the subject and says its his pants. When he saids his pants are as high as it goes. She gets mad and tell him to go to the office. <this happens every single day! Example2: My friend Matt wore a radio station shirt you may have heard of it its called kiss f.m. The teacher immediately ask what does the shirt say. He saids kiss....And then she cuts him off before he could say the rest...thats when i jumped in and said it wasnt a rock band. She gives me a dirty look and saids "i know" and then ask him to go out side for she coudl talk to him. So when they come back i ask him what did she think the shirt was and he said that she thought it was a rock band.
So yeah my school is currupted mostly b/c of the staff.

Do you know how many unwanted orphans we have in this country? We are not 'Keeping back' children for them. Unwanted little babies are crying out for homes. Would you leave them in a childrens home?

I am sure he would make an excellent parent. But why do you believe his sexuality would make him any better a parent? Why can he care for/love a child better?

Nah, because if you're 12 you're old enough to make a decision for yourself, so therefore you'd SAY you didn't want to go to them.

I totally agree with what you said. And with the scond bolded bit, so does that mean that all adoptions should stop? Why would a homosexual do that? Just because they are a homosexual, doesn't mean that they will do that.

Nah, because if you're 12 you're old enough to make a decision for yourself, so therefore you'd SAY you didn't want to go to them.

Yeah, at that age, and older, the courts take into account who you would like to live with, and who you would like to have as your guardian, because you are old enough to make your own decisions.

i dont mind gay people...live and let live right...they arnt hurting society soo why do we have to bother them....

the irony of this topic is that religious people are the ones like "oooh,lets love our brother" and "ah,the only perfect thing is god" and they're the firsts to criticize and judge,not only gays,but everybody that isnt following their religion. please dont get me wrong, cuz i do believe in god,but the people behind these religions are the ones that hates all the people that arent like them.(so im a christian and period).its just silly cause i know gay people that are just more 'devoted' cuz they judge less,cuz all the gays that are out have obviously gone through haters,even their own families,who rather follow something than to stay with their families.and yea that may be a sin,but everybody that follows the commandments are sinners too,cuz we yell at our fathers,masturbate,whatever it is that is marked as a sin.

Yeah, I know I'm a bit late on this (three days), and Blood kind of shot this down, but I'll reply to this anyway...

"children are not toys." Nobody ever said they were! Couples want to adopt a kid because they want a child without going through childbirth. With gay couples, it's because it's imposible for them to conceive...for lesbians, they'd rather adopt than go through labor, I assume. (Makes sense to me, anyway.) Nobody adopts a kid on a lark, thinking "This'll be good for a laugh or two."

And who IS setting kids aside for homosexuals specifically to adopt? This I haven't heard of...

As for your brother, whose religion prevents him from adopting...well, that's a matter of HIS religion. I don't see how that can get you mad at gays. But then you make it worse and say that "surely [a gay] lifestyle is wrong?" Wow. That's your opinion, yes...a highly bogited one that I'm just going to leave alone and try not to think about. I've attacked enough "gays are wrong" arguments in my time, I don't need another one today.

Being gay intimidates some people. They feel threatend by it, don't ask me why, but it's the truth. I donno' for some reason they think it's jepardizing everything they have. It doesn't bother me.
