I know that being gay ive done nothing wrong with my life, and that there is nothing wrong with being gay, But one thing i do get sick of is being sterotyped as to being the sort of person who would automatically jump on any random guys to get a kick outta it. |

Alexander the Great himself had a lover named Hephaestus. Michelangelo was gay...he's been quoted as wondering, since women's privates are so ugly, how the human race has survived this long. And all these people, in spite of their "disease" and "abnormality" managed to change the world forever...

I know a lot of people who are gay. They're pretty cool. I've met a couple gay people who aren't, but it's nothing to do with their sexual orientation. The fact that I had to say that to my father...that is sad. |

I wouldn't be so quick to say humanity is evil by nature. Humanity is flawed. But human nature is a very liquid, very changable concept. What we do and believe is not really entirely innate, it's a great deal to do with upbringing.
I've seen a lot of people do a lot of very kind things without the aid of religion or anything of that sort.
Humanity is certainly capable of some innate compassion and some great evil. I think that almost makes us neutral, doesn't it? That gives us free will and choice. |

Today during my Lab period I was talking wiht my lab partner and two other people. Somehow we got on the subject of church. I asked
"Is it that obvious I don't go?"
Lab partners response: "Well, yeah, I mean you can tell by your morals."
Me: "Tell me Baylee, what ARE my morals?"
Baylee: "Well, you support gay marriage, that's a dead giveaway."
(I just about lost it here.) "Well, I believe in CHOICE, if two men or two women were in love, so be it. Oh yeah, I also no MANY people who are die-hard christians and catholics still think that gay people should be married."
Baylee: "NEVER compare a Catholic with a Christian. Catholics are NOT the same as us. Catholics are dirty people."
(I wanted to knock her teeth out) "My mother was born and raised a catholic."
Baylee: "Oh...well.......gay marriage is still wrong." |
