Christianity's had more schisms than you can shake a crucifix at. Of course, there were real differences between most of them back in the day, but now they're very similar.

And I don't quite understand how somebody can be just Christian, not any of the subdivisions of it. Either you take the Pope as a real holy dude or you don't. And I've yet to come aross anybody ofany religion that was dirty because of religion. They may have been dirty...and I know some religious pricks...but I mean really.

I don't get the dirty bit either, i mean what they don't wash (lame joke, gah)

Christianity is if you take jesus as your saviour, unless you just have faith to be religious you would fall into a denomination, but most people wouldn't even be able to tell you what church they belong to.

I used to go to St. Paul's church, but I have no idea what that made me. Lutheran, I think...no idea.

It all sounds pretty much the same to me, 'cept for the obvious protestant/catholic separations.

Yeah, this I know from History. (Take that, nick! Rolling Eyes)

Nowadays I see very little agression between factions of Christianity like in the old days...

Obviously there will always be places and people that use religion as a seperation, but yeah it's the horse shoe effect.

religions spread so far apart that they start bending inwards so to speak and take on eachother values and morals. for example, Facism and communism are on seperate spheres in political circle but they have very similar tactics.

i don´t know why people and the "holy church" are so negative about being gay.
it´s not evil and it´s no disease.
two of my best friends are gay (they are a couple).
i love them so much and the boys are so happy together.

I personally see nothing wrong with homosexuals. I dont know why a man and a man or a woman and a woman cant love each other like a woman and a man can.

Some points I've seen on why homosexuality IS WRONG have been:
1)It goes against the Bible - wow i dont know about you but i have never seen anyone obeey the bible like it is a lawbook
2)It's not normal - Well what, may i ask, IS normal?

And I HAVE tried to see this topic in the eyes of a person against homosexuality and I found it very hard so i stopped.

Apart from the very nasty ones...

I hate that reasoning; "Oh, but they're nice". Bleh. Nice is such an awful way to describe someone...

And saying all homosexuals are nice gets on my wick, too. Some of them are bound to be quite cantankerous. Obviously I'm not being homophobic here, but it's true. It's impossible for such a wide group of people to have the same personality.

True...it's like saying black people have great rhythm, or white men can't jump.

...Although I've never met a blak man who couldn't flow or a white boy that could high-jump.
