I hate that reasoning; "Oh, but they're nice". Bleh. Nice is such an awful way to describe someone...
And saying all homosexuals are nice gets on my wick, too. Some of them are bound to be quite cantankerous. Obviously I'm not being homophobic here, but it's true. It's impossible for such a wide group of people to have the same personality.
I think people saying all homosexuals are nice is silly, too. That would be like saying all hetrosexual people are nice. But does this discussion also include lesbians and bisexual people? Because I think the bisexual people often get left out of the arguement. I am a hetrosexual, but my best friend in the whole world is bisexual. And so is the girl I write songs with. And I don't find them slutty at all, like some people say bisexual people are. And they both really like each other. And I have two gay friends as well. They aren't dating, because one finds the other revolting and bitchy, but my point is that there is as much variety in the personalities of homosexual people as they are in the hetrosexual community. Homosexual people should be allowed to get married because it's the right thing to do. Who cares if they love someone that's the same gender as them? Love is love.
But I don't know why I'm debating this if gay marriage is legal in Canada.  |

There is absolutley NOTHING wrong with being gay. Just because they like the same sex does not make them different. I mean they are still human.
And as for the church saying it is "evil", I think that is bull shit. If God "supposably" loves everyone, then why would he make an exception for gays? It's just dumb.
Just like religious people said HIV was a punishment from God to gay people. That's just dumb. Because how would they know? Have they been there before? NO! So it's just people trying to make shit up because the hate them.

I'd like to add...As I have said before, some Gay people are bound to be very nasty or mean or otherwise. It's just illogical for them all to be perfect. You can't say you 'Love' them all. |
