Feelings are about sexuality but without the sex part we shoulden't label just yet.
Asexual? = "Having no evident sex or sex organs; sexless." yes, you're sexless.

Asexual: A person who does not experience sexual attraction.
Even though that isn't entirely true, it is more accurate. |

He/She didn't say everything should be normal. He said others believed so. If you were quoting on the basis of the bolded part alone, yes, but as a whole sentance, no.
I believe normal can be identified as the 'vogue'/popular ideal or trend at any one given time. |
