i dont agree with homosexuality, i find it unnatural and i think that one is not 'born that way' as if it were part of them. i think that they decide to be gay. I IN NO WAY dislike people who are homosexual, nor do i penelize them for their choices. i CANT stand when people are cracking jokes about "oh this gay guy this, and this lezbo that". i dont think its weird at all that i disagree with thier choices yet i respect them for it, in my opinion NO ONE should be judged because of their sexual preference, or ANYTHING else!

I don't agree with heterosexuality. I find heterosexuality unnatural and I don't agree with it. I don't think anyone is 'born that way' at all. I think people decide to be heterosexual.*

Please don't just ignore this post, I'd like to know your views on my statements.

*For argument's sake.

you have a VERY good arguement, hats off to you. i have never heard anyone say that, no one has every turned the tables around, like you have, bravo. but really WHAT is natural? i am referring to heterosexuality being natural because God made women for man, and provided man for women. i dont always bring up religion, but that is what i am basing my opinion off of.

If you are speaking from a purely religiou point of view, than yes, that is so. However, I do not follow the Christian teachings on Gays. Have you ever heard the expression "I fall in love with people; not genders" ?. I am a strong believer in that. That is what I base my opinion off.

I'm always going to be pro-homosexuality. This is because I, as a person, do not feel I am in any position to judge another's sexual preferences.
However you choose to make love, I don't care. If you truly love a person, that is natural to my mind.

I can understand you view being based on the Bible/God. But didn't God make us 'In his image and likeness'?. Didn't he give us free will?. Free will to do what we will with whomever we wish. That includes how we choose to have sexual intercourse.

This is another matter; but I hate using the term 'unnatural'. It's just...Homosexuals do not disrupt any natural balance here on earth. They do nothing to harm or go against nature. But that's all by the by.

i didnt mean to offend you [or anyone else for that matter] and i dont not think that in any way homosexuals "disrupt any balance here on earth". people may not "choose" to be gay, they very well could be born a homosexual, but thats just not what i beleive.

i understand that we have different beleifs and i respect the fact that people today can express their opinion.
God did give us free will, trusting that we do what is good [in his eyes], and it says in the bible that God is not necesarily for homosexuality.
in church, the preacher often connects homosexuality to sin. when the minister starts talking about "worldly affairs" (or thats what he calls it anyway), i get confused because its not like the preacher will just come out and say "being gay is WRONG", so its kind of hard for me to decipher what i think is right and wrong, natural or unnatural, and God's way or Man's way. but knowing now that you're not a christian, i wont try to elaborate, because you dont associate with christianic affairs. so i dont want you to feel like im "preaching" to you.

now, no one will ever really know whether homosexuality is an option, or if you're born that way, but for all intensive purposes, lets leave it at that. and stick to our own opinions, accepting the fact that they're different.

you really propose a great arguement! i am honoured that you asked me to further explain myself.

Well I am certainly intrigued by this thread. I am not sure of my 'sexual preference' if you like. I just fall in love with people. But some part of me still believes that people may be born heterosexual and homosexual. I am really enjoying this thread because it hasn't just resulted in many posts of discrimination its has actually been, quite simply, a debate. I am not Christian but I am open to anything any Christians may have to say on the subject.

Keep Postin' People.

You don't have to worry about preaching to me...for a long time, I myself was Christian. Ah, don't feel honoured. I'm always interested to hear anyone and everyone's opinion being explained. If you don't take into account other people's views, how will you ever learn? Very Happy

I change my opinions too much on this section. It's because I'm always growing as a person, and discovering myself, so if you see an old post of mine and think..wow what a hypocrite. I'm not, I've just thought about it a lot more.

Anyway, earlier on in this thread, I may have said I was bicurious or bisexual or something else like that. I've now discovered that I'm not, I'm 100% straight and PROUD of it, but having gone through even thinking about girls has made me respect homosexuals more, and seem them as people. They are people [or maybe they're aliens Cool]

People should just accept everyone else Very Happy

There is just one thing on this board that goes over the top though, and it's the whole thing about the "gay" word. As someone said on another thread about retards, the word has changed its meaning. Same with the word gay. It's changed, it doesn't make people homophobic, nor should people really feel offended by it. But hey, if you wanna feel offended by it, go for it, but wouldn't it be better if you just...let it go. Whilst we're still making a fuss about it, homophobia will still be known and be present. I feel the same way about racism. Most people now are not racist. Yet there are still so many campaigns, and now, white people even feel afraid to fall out with black people incase they're thought of as racist. But if we all just..moved on, maybe, just maybe racism would die out. Altogether. Because whilst we're all kicking up a fuss about it, it's telling ordinary people that racism is still very much a part of life. And it isn't.

Now obviously, you're always gonna have a few ignorant individuals, the racists, the homophobes. But surely, if there was a vote, then surely the percentage of homophobes and racists would be waay waay lower than the percentage that arent.

But that's just my own personal opinion, I don't really expect anyone to take any notice of it, I'm not really asking you to. I don't know if I'm even making sense lmfao

If 'God' made man and woman to have sex then why did he give males a prostate?

The prostate gland carries out other bodily functions; it is not merely a device for pleasure.

You know the term; 'Neanderthal'?

Well, it comes from Homo Neanderthalensis, an ancient species of humans who lived around the time of Homo Sapiens but died out approx. 28,000 years ago. As we know, Homo Sapiens are still around today.
