Stef, if I offer some incredibly cliche piece of advice, it would be to follow your heart. But since I'm not- then I'd say just roll with the story. Obiously, keeping it the way it is, would be safe, considering you kinda set it up for that. But also consider the fact that safe can be boring. I'm not saying your writing is boring... because you have a gift with fucking with people's emotions. And I've cried, more than I'd like to admit. (Because of your story) So also use the process of elimination. You don't have to make a decision right now. Obviously, you wouldn't want to have "Billie wake up and have Stef lying next to him" in the next chapter.... You know? And you can't have that at the very ending, unless you wanted to write a Triqual...  So if you decide to revive Stef, then youu have some time to figure out how to make it work out. And find a way to make everyone happy, including yourself. |
