Since Green Day and American Idiot has now become a trend the people that want to be different aer saying they dont like it....Because everyone else does....Cuz if you notice the people who say they hate it once loved it..B4 anyone else did.........Either that or they havent changed the Cd from their player in a long ass time!....... I was uncool before uncool was cool!!!!!!!!!!!! Forgive me if none of that made sence lol im in a strange mood and it made sence to me!

I've found out a lot about Green Day, bought a lot of their albums and now I've moved on to other bands. I'm fickle. well that's kinda sad, do you still listen to them becuse if you don't then that's some $100 down the tube. No, I do still listen to them. But not as often anymore. Sometimes I go through a Green Day period and can't stop listening. It's not like I never listen or pay attention. Cause that would be bad. I just like expanding what I listen to every now and then.

Hating New Green Day has become a new trend, after all, you're only hard core if you have listened to them since Dookie. (Never Mind the Fact they had albums out before that.) All the 13 year olds who say Dookie was their first Green Day album crack me up, So you got it when you were 2? Wonderful..... I'm not gonna' lie, I haven't known Green Day since I was 2, but I also know their first damned album was 39/smooth (If I am wrong, that is gonna' suck serious balls). I love all of it, and just because other people don't like new Green Day, doesn't mean I'm not going to. Screw everybody else, I have my own taste. I don't need to be hardcore. I am also not gonna' lie, and say I liked them a whole lot before American Idiot, because well what's the point? I knew who they were, but I didn't pay attention to them, which I can say was an honest mistake. I love Green Day, and I am willing to face constant ridicule at school to like what I like. Pretty much, my rents are pretty sure this isn't just a faze, so yeah. uhhhh! srry...had the sudden urg to do something stupid. I agree 100% with _X_Vegas_X_. I don't care what other people like or think. I am still in love with EVERY SINGLE ALBUM even though I've listened to them about 100 times. It has become to much of a trend to call Green Day 'Sellouts' Or say that they are too 'Commercial'. Green Day have the talent let alone the money to do whatever the heck they want even if it meant going 'All political' I love Green Day and I'm never going to stop.

I haven't gone off the music as such, but I can't stand Billie Joe now that the AI fame has gone to his head.

rhcpnat Geek Age: - Gender: - Posts: 280	May 11th, 2006 at 05:50am i still like them but my first love was always red hot chili peppers.i hate the fact that billie joe thinks hes all great and stuff just cuz AI sold bucketloads,also its boring now just listening to green day so i gone back to listening to a varity of music. tre is still my favourite drummer in the world and mike is still a good bass player but i just cant stick billie joe anymore.
