Love their music or not, the acclaim they got and continue to get is not without reason. If you can name another band who managed to do so much for songwriting, composing, technology, society etc.etc. in less than a decade I'd like to hear about them. Probably THE most influential band of all time.
They may be the most influential, but that doesn't make them the best. |

They may be the most influential, but that doesn't make them the best. No one said anything about the best. Just because a band is the most influential doesn't mean that they're necessarily going to be liked by everyone.
It's possible to appreciate what a band has done for music but not like their music, if that makes sense. |

Some of their older stuff like Emergency and Pressure I like but idk. |

Agreed! I have 2 of their albums - Abbey Road and Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band which are two very good albums
One current band that is very overrated is the Jonas Brothers - they are everywhere!
They were the band who influenced many artists and bands to write their own music. |

(unfortunatly) I saw Paramore live once and you could hardly hear her.. could have been caused by bad soundchecking though
but I think they're very overrated anyway ..they're nothing special |

Well they were my brothers fave band - well atm its Metallica for him but he watched this dvd of their concert and my mother told me that Paul Stanley was acting really skanky |

| January 16th, 2009 at 05:45am Tool are quality but they're hard to get into. Most people just find them boring or repetitive, but you have to ~get them~ to think they're any good.
They make very clever music - especially with the time signatures. |
