(been playin for...4 years) and for all you peeps who wanna drop out of band before high school, DO IT. im a freshie in high school and i made an AWFUL mistake. my band teacher is a fat self-absorbed marshmallow with a minor in PSYCHOLOGY. and lemme tell ya, band conducting and psychology do NOT go well together!!! its torture i tells ya! torture! dont make the same mistake!!!

I'm a Mezzo-Soprano by nature though I can also sing high soprano or alto and even tenor when needed. I am in the church choir now and am the loudest by far out of the 7 members of the itty bitty choir Also a music major with 6 years worth of music theory and foundations along with chorus during high school.

I just started this year, but I'm a senior so it will only be for this year. My friend calls the band, band geeks and it annoys the hell out of me! I hate it! He's in the chorus so he shouldn't be talking. And there's only 3 guys in the chorus. But he disses everything he isn't interested in. I joined the band so I could learn how to play the drums, but that didn't work out so well. He said we needed a bass drum player, so I was going to play that. I wanted to play the snare, but the bass drum was close enough. The band teacher said that there were to many drummers and that they need saxophone players. I really wanted to be in the band so I agreed to play the sax.
