Age: - Gender: Female Posts: 148 | August 11th, 2006 at 07:18pm I loved it. I thought it was a good movie, however it wasn't material for the feel-good film of the year. But yes, I think Billie pulled it off nicely. Somehow i could still hear Billie's natural voice even though it was all distorted. And I liked the Mechanical Man song. |

| December 30th, 2006 at 10:10am I'd love to see it, but I told my mom about an 'unrated puppet musical' and she said no. But yeah, the idea of it started my veeery slight obbsession with Mr. Manson. And to anybody who wants to read Helter Skelter, my version, in the pictures, the actual bodies were whited out, and in black and white. And I've seen the actual in color photos and it's not that bad.
It's any photos after they found the LaBiancas that you might not wanna see. Unless it's just the ones they took at the first showing. |

in my opinion it's a pretty great movie...and even though it's creepy-funny it makes a very good point about belief systems and mr. manson. |

 | January 31st, 2007 at 07:38am Ok, let me clear somethings up for you...
The names of the characters were changed (Manson to Hanson, Tate to Hate etc) for legal purposes.
The name Live Freaky!, Die Freaky! was taken from a line in the book Helter Skelter- someone who knew the Tate murder victims said 'they Live(d) freaky, they die(d) freaky'.
The film is meant to be a tongue-in-cheek and comical satire of the true events.
Thats enough of that.
Anyway, I really liked the film and thought Billie did an excellent job- at first it didnt even sound like him, ut as you get inot it, you can hear some of the tone he really uses coming through.
After reading Helter Skelter though, my opinions of this film really changed, its not that funny anymore.

| January 31st, 2007 at 02:18pm This really has nothing to do with the movie, but it does have to do with Charles Manson. He put out a CD called "Lies" to pay for his defence fees.
Carry on. XD |

Age: 37 Gender: Female Posts: 25324 | January 31st, 2007 at 02:26pm Charles Manson wrote a song which 'Mechanical Man' was based loosely on. He also wrote a song very similar to JOS.
