Micro Sheep:
Perfume by Patrick Suskind gets to my top favourite books.Recently finished reading it, it's really interesing the way it's thought.
Is that your interpretation? Because I found it humourous. I was laughing throughout, I think he's a deeply satirical man and his intention for the book, apart from exploring themes involving the human condition, was to overly-exaggerate every literary genre to the point of humour.

I tend to notice mostly that part.I didn't literary analyse it while reading, because I was paying attention to the meaning of the story more than to his hidden writing intentions. I'll re-read it sometime more 'responsibly' Very Happy

It's Kind Of A Funny Story by Ned Vizzini and
Someday This Pain Will Be Useful To You by Peter Cameron.
They were both books with characters that have pretty different lives from me yet I share all their thoughts.
So much so that it scares me.

The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, as well as his fairy tales.
At our library there's a book which contains Dorian Gray as well as the fairy tales and I constantly borrow it. I can't find it in any book shop though, it's such a pity.

^This book would interest me as well.

Too bad I can find it neither in German nor in English.
And I just started learning French in September so I don't think I have a chance of understanding anything if I read it in French... :/

Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. It's a book you really can't stop thinking about even after you've finished reading it.
